I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a very clean 1990 Mercedes-Benz 300SE. I would rate the exterior of this classic Merc to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking car. It is finished in white with rare blue interior. The exterior finish shines nicely and looks great. As with any older vehicle, please expect to find a few scratches and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. Overall, there really isn't much to complain about on the exterior. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The chrome exterior trim shows very well. The alloy wheels also show well and are wrapped in a nice set of rubber with good tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this 300SE is. I would rate the interior of this Mercedes to also be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, the previous owners took excellent car of this car. The rare blue leather interior shows very well for its age. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets are thick and full looking. The seats show minimal wear and are comfortable. Both front seats are power operated. The drivers window will most likely need a new regulator. The other three windows open and close as they should. The wood vaneers show well for their age. The dash and headliner are clean. The trunk is spacious and clean. The original Becker radio is present and working beautifully. The climate control system is fully automatic and is also working properly. The air conditioner is blowing ICE COLD AIR. Pride in ownership shows throughout every inch of this Mercedes-Benz. Mechanically, this 300SE appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 3.0L inline six cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are excellent. You can hear/feel some age in the suspension bushings, which is common at this age. The steering and brakes feel good. The suspension feels well sorted. The engine makes good power and runs well. She keeps perfect temperature and excellent oil pressure at all times. The automatic transmission engages and shifts normally. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints. This 300SE has a current PA safety and emissions inspection good through the end of November, 2014. If you're looking for a clean/straight W112, they are getting harder and harder to find. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a very clean 1990 Mercedes-Benz 300SE. I would rate the exterior of this classic Merc to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking car. It is finished in white with rare blue interior. The exterior finish shines nicely and looks great. As with any older vehicle, please expect to find a few scratches and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. Overall, there really isn't much to complain about on the exterior. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The chrome exterior trim shows very well. The alloy wheels also show well and are wrapped in a nice set of rubber with good tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this 300SE is.
I would rate the interior of this Mercedes to also be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, the previous owners took excellent car of this car. The rare blue leather interior shows very well for its age. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets are thick and full looking. The seats show minimal wear and are comfortable. Both front seats are power operated. The drivers window will most likely need a new regulator. The other three windows open and close as they should. The wood vaneers show well for their age. The dash and headliner are clean. The trunk is spacious and clean. The original Becker radio is present and working beautifully. The climate control system is fully automatic and is also working properly. The air conditioner is blowing ICE COLD AIR. Pride in ownership shows throughout every inch of this Mercedes-Benz.
Mechanically, this 300SE appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 3.0L inline six cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are excellent. You can hear/feel some age in the suspension bushings, which is common at this age. The steering and brakes feel good. The suspension feels well sorted. The engine makes good power and runs well. She keeps perfect temperature and excellent oil pressure at all times. The automatic transmission engages and shifts normally. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints. This 300SE has a current PA safety and emissions inspection good through the end of November, 2014. If you're looking for a clean/straight W112, they are getting harder and harder to find. Winning Bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us via eBay Message within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. Please do not leave a voicemail on the office phone.
Full payment is due within 7 day of the auction's end. The prefferred method is to bring cash in person to complete the sale. If you are unable to bring cash in person within seven days or will be having the vehicle shipped, we also accept Certified Checks, USPS Postal Money Orders, and wire transfer.
PayPal is not an accepted payment method. This includes Bill Me Later.
We cannot accept credit cards or personal checks.
Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are able to complete most tag, registration, and title work, as well as collect sales tax, for Pennsylvania residents.
For out-of-state buyer we can issue a 30-day temporary tag (aka In-Transit tag). The cost is $39 and the buyer must show a valid driver's license and current proof of insurance.
