Up for bid is a 1972 Chevelle SS clone. It has had a frame off, rotisserie restoration, and is a real head turner!! No stones left un-turned on this one. It has won many trophies at car shows including best of show a few times, comities choice out of 300 cars, and many 1st place awards in its class. Not sure what to start with but I Here is SOME of what has been done to it: ENGINE: 496ci BBC 630+HP Scat forged crank, ARP main bolts, 6.385"H-beam rods(scat) with upgraded ARP bolts, Mahle forged pistons (aprox 10.5:1 comp runs on premium), Milodeon oil pan, Dart iron eagle heads complete with h sharp rockers and dart stud girdles, ARP head bolts, Dart intake, Quick Fuel 950cfm carb, Braided fuel line from front to back of car, Holley Black elect fuel pump, Comp cams solid roller camshaft(custom), Tri ck flow chrome moly pushrods, Msd 6al Digital ignition box, Jet hot coated hooker headers/stainless bolts, Billet specialties polished aluminum pulleys, Chromed aluminum valve covers (will not dull like polished aluminum), Cloyes aluminum timing cover, Poly motor mounts, Sfi approved flexplate and harmonic balancer. TRANSMISSION: Professionally built 350TH with 3000 stall. Was told by the builder it was good for 1000hp. Shifts very solid. Chirps into 2nd gear pretty easily. Nice solid 3rd gear shift as well. Has a driveshaft loop REAREND: 12 bolt chevy rearend out of an original Chevelle SS. Upgraded to an Eaton posi center section and richmond 3.73 gear. Disc brakes, Boxed lower control arms, Poly graphite bushings, Ladder bars, Chrome cover BODY: Complete rotisserie restoration. New rear goodmark full quarters, New rockers, New hood, New front fenders, New partial trunk and floor boards, New front inner fenders, New partial rear inner fenders, New front bumper, New SS badging/chevelle badging, Prof restored SS grille, New door handles on outside, New locks, Excellent original glass, New window felts, New weather stripping, Poly body mounts, Under carrage is painted red just like the rest of the car, Firewall has not been cut out, and ruined. Its painted red to match the rest of the car. All chrome pcs are on car and in good shape. The doors, hood, trunk etc. close nice and have nice gaps. Dupont brand base/clear paint, which has been color sanded and buffed to glass finish. Car is laser straight. INTERIOR: All new or restored SS interior. It is missing nothing. Just like it would have been from the factory! New chevelle floor mats, New carpet, All seats have been re apholstered to factory condition, New center console/horshoe shifter, New SS dash completed with factory gages that work Floorboards, and behind door panels are all covered in dynamat sound/heat deadener, which makes this car much more fun to drive since there is very little engine heat, and much less noise getting in the car and feels more like a modern car inside when driving. ELECTRICAL: All new factory wiring harness. Nothing old. Everything works except the radio, which would if it had speakers installed, and the blower fan (which would also if it were hooked completely up. It does have a new blower fan installed, just never got around to finnishing these two little things. Dome light works Console lighting works, Backup lights work, Dash lights work Everthing else works as far as I know. CHASSIS/FRAME: Completely disassembled, stripped and re painted Frame was blasted clean, New poly graphite bushings all around, Boxed in lower rear control arms, Hotchkis front springs lower it about 2 " to achieve the stance and control I wanted, New stainless brake line from front to rear, New brake booster/master cyl., Disc brakes front and rear, Replaced everything that could b replaced I think! New quicker ratio power steering box, Reman power steering pump. TIRES/WHEELS: Weld pro star with BFG radial t/a tires EXHAUST: 3 inch exhaust all the way out the back, with Flowmaster mufflers, and an H-Pipe The battery has been put in the trunk. It is a brand new OPTIMA YELLOW TOP This car has a 20 gallon fuel cell in the trunk. I can get pics of the trunk if you want to see it.
