I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a beautiful 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x4. The 1998 model year was the final year of this body style. The Jeep Grand Cherokee has an excellent reputation as a rugged and reliable SUV that can take you around town in complete comfort and still be quite capable when the weather gets sideways. I would rate the exterior of this Grand Cherokee to be in EXCELLENT CONDITION for its age and mileage. This is an absolutely gorgeous Jeep. It is immediately obvious that the previous owners took excellent care of this Jeep and used it sparingly. The exterior is finished in a metallic beige and looks as smooth as glass. The finish shines nicely and is virtually flawless. As with any older vehicle, please don't expect it to be perfect. However, this is probably one of the nicest one's left. The side cladding is clean and tight. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The original alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a matching set of rubber with average tread. Please take your time and check out each of the photos to see how exceptionally clean this Jeep is. I would rate the interior of this Jeep to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. Again, pride in ownership shows throughout this Grand Cherokee. The door panels are clean with just a little wear visible on the usual spot on the drivers arm rest. The carpets are extremely clean and show very well for their age. There are a few stains in the cargo area. A full set of factory floor mats are included. The cloth seats show very well and are comfortable. The power windows, locks and mirrors all work. You'll need a new regulator for the RF window. The wood interior trim shows well and is all intact. The original cassette player has been replaced with a Sony CD player. The climate control system also appears to be working properly. The heater keeps the interior warm on cool evenings. The air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. Even the headliner is nearly perfect...which is next to unheard of in these Grand Cherokees. Mechanically, this Jeep appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 4.0L inline six cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. I will start by saying that this is one of the nicest driving Jeeps I've gotten my hands on in as long as I can remember. The suspension and front end feel nice and tight, not loose and clunky like many. The steering feels perfect. The brakes stop this Grand Cherokee with no issues. In fact, the only complaint I can think of is that the belt squeeks when you turn the A/C on. The engine keeps perfect temperature and excellent oil pressure at all times. There was a check engine light on (something about the distributor) when I got this Jeep. When I get random codes like that and there are no drivability issues, I clear the code to see if it comes back. As of now, it hasn't come back...but I wanted to let you know in case it does in the future. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts perfectly. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. This Jeep Grand Cherokee has the very desirable 4.0L engine/ Select-Trac Part Time 4WD system. The 4WD system is tested and working properly. With just over 100k miles and a nearly flawless body, the next owner should be able to get years and years out of this Jeep which makes it an excellent value. She comes as a fresh local NEW CAR TRADE and has a current PA safety and emissions inspection good through the end of February, 2015. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a beautiful 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x4. The 1998 model year was the final year of this body style. The Jeep Grand Cherokee has an excellent reputation as a rugged and reliable SUV that can take you around town in complete comfort and still be quite capable when the weather gets sideways. I would rate the exterior of this Grand Cherokee to be in EXCELLENT CONDITION for its age and mileage. This is an absolutely gorgeous Jeep. It is immediately obvious that the previous owners took excellent care of this Jeep and used it sparingly. The exterior is finished in a metallic beige and looks as smooth as glass. The finish shines nicely and is virtually flawless. As with any older vehicle, please don't expect it to be perfect. However, this is probably one of the nicest one's left. The side cladding is clean and tight. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The original alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a matching set of rubber with average tread. Please take your time and check out each of the photos to see how exceptionally clean this Jeep is.
I would rate the interior of this Jeep to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. Again, pride in ownership shows throughout this Grand Cherokee. The door panels are clean with just a little wear visible on the usual spot on the drivers arm rest. The carpets are extremely clean and show very well for their age. There are a few stains in the cargo area. A full set of factory floor mats are included. The cloth seats show very well and are comfortable. The power windows, locks and mirrors all work. You'll need a new regulator for the RF window. The wood interior trim shows well and is all intact. The original cassette player has been replaced with a Sony CD player. The climate control system also appears to be working properly. The heater keeps the interior warm on cool evenings. The air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. Even the headliner is nearly perfect...which is next to unheard of in these Grand Cherokees.
Mechanically, this Jeep appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 4.0L inline six cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. I will start by saying that this is one of the nicest driving Jeeps I've gotten my hands on in as long as I can remember. The suspension and front end feel nice and tight, not loose and clunky like many. The steering feels perfect. The brakes stop this Grand Cherokee with no issues. In fact, the only complaint I can think of is that the belt squeeks when you turn the A/C on. The engine keeps perfect temperature and excellent oil pressure at all times. There was a check engine light on (something about the distributor) when I got this Jeep. When I get random codes like that and there are no drivability issues, I clear the code to see if it comes back. As of now, it hasn't come back...but I wanted to let you know in case it does in the future. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts perfectly. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. This Jeep Grand Cherokee has the very desirable 4.0L engine/ Select-Trac Part Time 4WD system. The 4WD system is tested and working properly. With just over 100k miles and a nearly flawless body, the next owner should be able to get years and years out of this Jeep which makes it an excellent value. She comes as a fresh local NEW CAR TRADE and has a current PA safety and emissions inspection good through the end of February, 2015. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.

Winning Bidders:

Full payment is due within 7 day of the auction's end. The prefferred method is to bring cash in person to complete the sale. If you are unable to bring cash in person within seven days or will be having the vehicle shipped, we also accept Certified Checks, USPS Postal Money Orders, and wire transfer.
PayPal is not an accepted payment method. This includes Bill Me Later.
We cannot accept credit cards or personal checks.
Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are able to complete most tag, registration, and title work, as well as collect sales tax, for Pennsylvania residents.
For out-of-state buyer we can issue a 30-day temporary tag (aka In-Transit tag). The cost is $39 and the buyer must show a valid driver's license and current proof of insurance.
