Vehicle Detail
1966 U15 Bronco with 56xxx original miles. This is NOT a $10k fixer upper bronco. It drives great. Everything works but the wipers, but I don't drive my Broncos in the rain. This vehicle has the original 170cc inline 6. It still runs strong, does not leak oil nor does it smoke. The tranny, 3 on the tree, shifts smooth and does not slip. It will run 70 mph down the highway all day long. All the gauges work! If you want an extremely clean bronco, stop reading and bid. I have taken pics of the age issues, but to enjoy this vehicle you only need to buy and drive it. The issues can be addressed for very little $ and time invested. I priced out all parts needed to make this baby perfect and it was under $1000. Including 3 new oem seat skins. You won't find a better deal! We can do the work for you, if you want after you buy it. I put the seats from my 74 in her so i could drive it around without damaging the original silver 1966 seats. Will ship the vehicle with the originals. If you want my other ones as well, we can work something out. I can answer any questions that you may have regarding the vehicle, but the pictures speak for themselves. This vehicle is listed for sale locally and I reserve the right to sell it immediately to a qualified buyer and end this auction. Thanks and Happy Bidding On Jul-23-14 at 18:56:05 PDT, seller added the following information: The picture of the wheel well shows the original undercoating that is still present all though flaking. It was put on by the New Jersey dealer as an optional undercoating. This coating is present throughout the undercarriage and when pulled off in pieces you expose the original burnt orange primer or marlin blue paint. This is the main thing I believe kept the rust off this vehicle. That and it was stored in San Angelo tx since 1974. It was purchased in Jersey and the owner then moved to TX to pursue his racing career. On Jul-24-14 at 15:17:20 PDT, seller added the following information: This bronco sits on 205 75 r 15 tires right now. Think of how it will look with a set of 32/11.50 r 15's on her. Man, whoever wins this bronco is going to love me when she shows up. This thing is so awesome I am honestly thinking about keeping her. Who else has a 66 with the original 170cc engine 3 on the tree. It is so much fun to drive!!!!On Jul-24-14 at 15:21:52 PDT, seller added the following information: Tomorrow I will post pics after I fix the passenger side floor board. It is only surface rust and I will Sand it and apply one step. On Jul-24-14 at 15:44:08 PDT, seller added the following information: Ok, I lowered the reserve. She will sell. Have fun and best of luck to all of the bidders. This is a first for me, talking and working while the auction goes. I enjoy it. Hope you do as well. On Jul-25-14 at 14:22:47 PDT, seller added the following information: All Right. I sanded the rust on the floor board and guess what.... It was surface rust and it is all gone now. It was treated and is sitting like the picture I took. However, my ability to add more pictures on the ebay listing is full. Therefore, if you want to see the fixed no rust panel, go to my FaceBook.
