I am selling my 1986 Jeep CJ7. It is a beautiful jeep and totally rust free. I bought this from an older lady who bought the jeep in 1988. She drove it 1 mile to work and recently retired and decided to sell the jeep. She said she had just spent $1700 on the rear end but could not tell me what was done. It runs great and drives straight down the road. It has a very powerful straight six engine, 258 ci. The steering is tight. The tires are brand new. The 4 wheel drive works great and has new Rugged Ridge lock out hubs on the front. It also has a new windshield and rubber. The hardtop is in excellent shape and the doors close with ease and fit perfectly. It has AC and everything is there, it just needs to be gone through to get it in working condition. It has a 5 speed transmission that shifts great in all gears. It has power disc brakes on the front and drums on the back. It has power steering. The interior is very nice. It has new seats in the front. The back seat is in good shape except for a small tear on the drivers side, you can see it in the picture. The door panels are in great shape. The dash is in good shape and appears to be original. The paint job is good driver quality and has a good shine. You can see all of the factory welds on the sides, this is how it came from the factory. The colors have been kept original, Charcoal exterior with a Honey interior. Underneath the jeep is exceptionally clean with no rust. I have owned this jeep since March and have just driven it around the neighborhood, so it has not been tested on a long road trip. I ran a compression test on the engine and came up with the following: (cylinder 1) 155, (2) 163, (3) 162, (4) 156, (5) 165, (6) 162. This is pretty rare jeep. 1986 was the last year for the CJ and they did not produce many this year. The Arkansas title is clear and still in the previous owners name.
