Vehicle Detail

Selling my 1970 Corvette, just don't have time to tinker with it anymore. I purchased it with what was originally thought to be a valve issue, turned out a lifter went bad and lobed the cam. Long story short: car has new cam, timing chain, lifters, pushrods, valves, springs, radiator, and a rebuilt carb. It is a numbers matching car, but the previous owner put headers on, edelbrock performer intake, holley carb, and roller rockers, but it does have the original block. Going front to back: front chrome bumper is in good condition, the lights work, but vacuum system does not. radiator is new. engine runs great, starter does need to be shimmed, vacuum system for wiper door does not work, speedometer reads 129552-not counting right now. carpet is original-ok condition. dash is in great shape, interior doors are good. hood latch cable is there and connected-but no handle. seats are original-good condition. T-tops go in and out easily, rear window pops in and out easily. rear lights and turn signals work. tires are good. frame is good, no rust to be concerned about, originally came from florida. I took it out for a drive last week, and the transmission shifts into 3rd, then shifts right back to second when I hit the gas pedal. Right rear corner-looks like someone backed into something, has a 2" ding back there, doesn't look like it has affected anything with the body. Rear chrome bumpers are good. This car is not a show car, this car would be a great driver for someone out there who has some time and knowledge to refine a few small things. Engine is a very strong running engine now, sounds great. Fun car, sad to see it go, but I don't have time or garage space anymore. The car has been stored inside throughout the year. If you have any questions, please email me, that will be the quickest response.
