Selling to finish a 1965 fastback restoration . Low 62k miles 1988 mustang gt with a built 351w sportsman (nascar) block from DSS. Just completed the break in and it runs great. It is fast of course, so probably not for a young new driver. Interior is in good condition for the year but does need a headliner. The sunroof and hatch weather stripping has been replaced and I have the door weather stripping but have not got it on there yet. All the original gauges work and the added tach, but the added temp and oil gauges are not tied in yet. The color looks on little light on here but it is is about the color of the new mustangs. It is not a 10k paint job but looks pretty good. The hood was not secured and flew up and hit the cowl, it now has a little damage as seen it pics but easily repaired. I replaced the cowl grill with a new one but the cowl itself is dented a little, but again can be easily repaired. It started as an AC car but was removed, compressor comes with the car. There is far more in just the build than the asking price, let alone a good rust free mustang. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.
