RELISTING THIS AUCTION - A PROSPECTIVE BUYER WHO KNOWS A LOT MORE ABOUT CARS THAN ME POINTED OUT THAT THE FRAME OF THIS VEHICLE IS RUSTING OUT, PROBABLY WOULD NOT PASS INSPECTION AND HIS OPINION IS THAT THE FRAME MIGHT NEED REPLACEMENT. PHOTOS OF THE FRAME ARE ATTACHED. For this reason, I ended a previous auction listing and relisted with a lower minimum price. I apologize to those who bid before but but I would not have originally listed this vehicle in the first auction knowing the condition of the frame without disclosing such. I thought the rust was cosmetic but it is obviously not. I'm an honest person, not trying to scam anyone, would have included this information the first time around had I been aware. So I canceled the previous auction and relisted at this lower starting price. It is, obviously a project vehicle, perhaps might only be worthy of being parted out considering the frame condition. Answering some questions that were posed during the prior auction. The AC does NOT blow cold air and I don't know if it just needs to be recharged. The pans and skid plates are, I think, rust free but I was wrong about the frame so I can't be certain. The gentleman who looked at the vehicle said the engine does run well, no ticking and the body tub is in good shape (there is rust on the flat fenders). It was not in any accidents but the front bumper is bent from someone hitting it in a parking lot. Original listing - Selling my 1998 Jeep Wrangler Sport 4X4. It's a 5 speed manual and has 2 sets of doors (full and half hard doors) and 2 tops (hard and soft but the soft top is in really crappy shape, the hardware is fine). Exterior color is chili pepper red with grey cloth interior This vehicle has a cracked exhaust manifold, the tail pipe is hanging down and some other issue with, I think, the transmission or driveline. The engine runs great and the body is in good shape (there is some rust on the flat fenders). The interior is in decent shape. Tires are good, plenty of tread. Aftermarket radio with CD player. This vehicle is a project Jeep or can be parted out but it is not worthy of being your daily driver out of the box. If you are looking for a project Jeep, are handy or a mechanic, or if you're looking to part out a vehicle, this could be a great opportunity. It has 114,350 original miles and I am the original owner. The vehicle is being sold as is with no warranty. Thank you
