I have a 1979 xr 185 I bought this a few years back an decided it was time to make room for something else. Great little bike very low miles runs and shifts great. I took it all the way down painted the frame checked everything for form function and fit. Put it all back together. Put a new seat cover on it new clutch cable air cleaner. put some handle bars and new grips ufo rear fender Preston Petty the old Tony D style front fender. Rear shocks look great that's about it though. Front end works good there is no rust or pitting anywhere it was indoors it's whole life. I bought it from the original owner. Fun little bike pipe helped spunk it up a little built a pipe and put a tunable super trap on it. Tank is straight fresh paint. this would make a great starter bike or amateur vintage dirt racer. Or with a little work suspension motor could be a great bike to race down south (cal) in there 200 classes. Ask any thing and I will do my best to get back to you with a answer.
