For sale: my old Volkswagen Vanagon. I took a job that has me commuting 50 miles every workday and not only do I not have the time to continue working on my van, I opted for a newer automatic car with AC to make the driving a bit easier. I'd love to keep the old girl, but I need to do the right thing and let this one go. But if you are in the market for a "cracker box on wheels", and don't need the frills that comes with a camper van, this might be the car for you. The car runs great. Come on over for a test drive and we'll drive as far as you want. I can send you a small movie file so you can hear the engine purr. I opted for the expensive mechanical fixes and never got around to making any cosmetic changes, but still, it's a solid car for the price. I've done the following since I've owned the car (all backed up with repair history invoices): * Had the engine completely rebuilt, swapping out worn parts for new parts. * Replaced master cylinder. * Replaced ignition switch. * Replaced catalytic converter. * Resealed gas tank. * Replaced oxygen sensor. * Replaced headlight grounds. * Replaced heater cable.
