My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE is a 1996 Audi A6 Quattro. The A6 was the middle range Audi of the 90's and 2000's and has an excellent reputation for luxury and quality. As for this specific A6, it has probably been a few years since either of those adjectives were used in describing this car. As you can see, this is not a good looking car. There is visible damage to the lower portion of the front bumper cover. The paint is faded noticeably on the hood and roof. Otherwise, the exterior isn't too bad. The body itself shows no major damage...just signs of age. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set of matching rubber that look to only be a few months old. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. Overall, she is pretty solid...just not much of a looker. The interior of this A6 is also in POOR CONDITION. The door cards themseves are intact but the cloth inserts are loose and drooping. The carpets look like they could use a good cleaning. The front seats are pretty torn up from age...the back seat is acceptable. Both front seats are power operated and heated. The RF window is having some sort of issue that makes it not want to go up all the way. The other windows work fine. The control panel is missing from the sunroof so I have no idea if that works or not. The stereo is original. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working as it should. The air conditioner will need charged or serviced as it does not blow cold air. This Audi comes with a full set of books and manuals. The trunk is spacious and clean. Mechanically, this Audi actually appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.8L V6 starts easily and runs smoothly. I'm sure it leaks something, somewhere but I did not see any evidence of any major fluid leaks and the engine does not smoke. The suspension on this A6 feels remarkably tight. The brakes and steering feel good, too. Based on the physical appearance of this Audi, my expectations were quite low on how it would drive...and I was blown away by how well it drove. This A6 has had the same owner since around 30k miles and it appears as if they took care of the car mechanically, if nothing else. The engine keeps good temperature. It smells like the cam seals seep a little (they basically all do...I've seen much worse than this on much nicer Audi's). The engine makes good power and runs smoothly. The check engine light is on. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts normally. Out on the highway, she drives much better than you'd think based on the outside appearance of this car. Of course, the party piece of any Audi is their legendary Quattro viscous All Wheel Drive system which gives this car a remarkable amount of confidence in every possible driving situation. This car has a current PA safety and emissions inspection good through the end of March, 2015. If you're looking for an inexpensive car that is reliable as well as capable of getting you where you need to go regardless of the weather and you don't mind trading a little bit of ugly for a substantial savings, this car is for you. Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE is a 1996 Audi A6 Quattro. The A6 was the middle range Audi of the 90's and 2000's and has an excellent reputation for luxury and quality. As for this specific A6, it has probably been a few years since either of those adjectives were used in describing this car. As you can see, this is not a good looking car. There is visible damage to the lower portion of the front bumper cover. The paint is faded noticeably on the hood and roof. Otherwise, the exterior isn't too bad. The body itself shows no major damage...just signs of age. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set of matching rubber that look to only be a few months old. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. Overall, she is pretty solid...just not much of a looker.
The interior of this A6 is also in POOR CONDITION. The door cards themseves are intact but the cloth inserts are loose and drooping. The carpets look like they could use a good cleaning. The front seats are pretty torn up from age...the back seat is acceptable. Both front seats are power operated and heated. The RF window is having some sort of issue that makes it not want to go up all the way. The other windows work fine. The control panel is missing from the sunroof so I have no idea if that works or not. The stereo is original. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working as it should. The air conditioner will need charged or serviced as it does not blow cold air. This Audi comes with a full set of books and manuals. The trunk is spacious and clean.
Mechanically, this Audi actually appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.8L V6 starts easily and runs smoothly. I'm sure it leaks something, somewhere but I did not see any evidence of any major fluid leaks and the engine does not smoke. The suspension on this A6 feels remarkably tight. The brakes and steering feel good, too. Based on the physical appearance of this Audi, my expectations were quite low on how it would drive...and I was blown away by how well it drove. This A6 has had the same owner since around 30k miles and it appears as if they took care of the car mechanically, if nothing else. The engine keeps good temperature. It smells like the cam seals seep a little (they basically all do...I've seen much worse than this on much nicer Audi's). The engine makes good power and runs smoothly. The check engine light is on. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts normally. Out on the highway, she drives much better than you'd think based on the outside appearance of this car. Of course, the party piece of any Audi is their legendary Quattro viscous All Wheel Drive system which gives this car a remarkable amount of confidence in every possible driving situation. This car has a current PA safety and emissions inspection good through the end of March, 2015. If you're looking for an inexpensive car that is reliable as well as capable of getting you where you need to go regardless of the weather and you don't mind trading a little bit of ugly for a substantial savings, this car is for you. Winning Bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us via eBay Message within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. Please do not leave a voicemail on the office phone.
Full payment is due within 7 day of the auction's end. The prefferred method is to bring cash in person to complete the sale. If you are unable to bring cash in person within seven days or will be having the vehicle shipped, we also accept Certified Checks, USPS Postal Money Orders, and wire transfer.
PayPal is not an accepted payment method. This includes Bill Me Later.
We cannot accept credit cards or personal checks.
Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are able to complete most tag, registration, and title work, as well as collect sales tax, for Pennsylvania residents.
For out-of-state buyer we can issue a 30-day temporary tag (aka In-Transit tag). The cost is $39 and the buyer must show a valid driver's license and current proof of insurance.
