Vehicle Detail
This is a 1993 SR5, 4X4, Extended Cab Toyota PICKUP! Not a Tacoma as the eBay listing engine insists on calling it!! NOT A TACOMA!! I am the original owner and operator of this vehicle and am proud to say that it has never been involved in any sort of accident or fender bender in all 21 years of ownership. That being said, this truck is in phenomenal condition for its age and has been cared for meticulously throughout all its years. The first week I owned it, I had it "Ziebarted" throughout its entire underbody and chassis to protect it from rust. Apparently it works. I would say that the body panels and doors are 95% rust free. The chassis has a fair share of rust throughout, indicative of its age, but nothing structurally deficient. No holes in the frame or floor boards or anything that compromises the integrity of the vehicle. It can still handle a pretty decent payload in back. The engine works and runs very well giving great compression and performance with 142,476 miles on it. (That's a teenager in Toyota years!) It has always started for me and never broken down, no matter what weather or time of year. It has been meticulously maintained with oil changes every 3000 miles, timing belts when needed, all fluids changed at their proper intervals, and driven by a civilized mature adult. The transmission is in perfect operating order and functions flawlessly. The 4 wheel drive system engages and dis-engages without any hesitation or problems whatsoever. The body is tight and does not make any annoying noises while in motion. Currently, with the exception of the brakes and air conditioning, all systems on this truck work perfectly. The Brakes are not working due to a blown brake line just behind the right front suspension assembly. Two lines down there would have to be replaced. The air conditioning system is anyone's guess as to where the refrigerant is leaking from. The engine itself does leak oil from the valve cover gaskets towards the rear of the engine. It does not burn oil in the cylinders in any capacity. The timing belt, at this point in time, should probably be replaced. (non-interference engine). The Battery on this vehicle is currently in my garage on trickle charge to keep it happy. The exhaust system is less than 1 year old. This SR5 comes with a factory equipped sunroof. This is not some after-thought accessory or custom butchered addition to this truck. It has not ever leaked and even to this day it still works fine upon opening and removal. The interior of the vehicle is almost a little hard to believe. It is virtually flawless throughout with nothing broken, missing, malfunctioning, scratched, gouged or what have you. Hey, even the cigarette lighter still works and is original. The drivers seat has an aftermarket seat cover still on it as I used it just to protect the fabric from daily use going back and forth to work. It is NOT covering up any damage or anything at all. It looks just as good as the passenger seat. (see pictures). The front grill protector, running boards, bed liner and aluminum rims are all original and from the factory (Toyota). I added the Vent Visors to the doors to aid in coolness of look. Same goes for the front fog lights. The rear bed is 6 feet long X 4.5 feet wide. There is no rust underneath the bed liner and the original bed is fully intact. Astonishing, I know! The acquisition of this truck also comes with a box of freebies! It contains 3 sets of 6054 headlight bulbs, two quarts of GTX 5w30 motor oil, 1, 16" Bosch wiper blade, (new in package), 2 air conditioning recharge kits, two cans of R12 recharge refrigerant, a whole bunch of other truck related craziness, and the best item of all: An authentic and original "Truck Club" to protect your investment. Buyer is 100% responsible for the timely transaction of payment in full by whatever means. Vehicle will not move and title given until I receive payment in full in cash, or by certified bank check, money order or personal check. Funds MUST CLEAR MY BANK before title is signed over and vehicle moves. Buyer is also 100% responsible for the pickup of or hired transportation of said vehicle. All arrangements for shipping vehicle are the sole responsibility of the buyer. Remember, this vehicle currently has no brakes and cannot be driven off from location. You must flatbed or car trailer this vehicle to your location. I am in possession of a 100% clear title on this truck and will part with it with great sadness. This truck has been, without any doubt, the best performing vehicle I have ever owned to date. Its performance and reliability for 21 years has far surpassed any other vehicle I've known. Toyota's ROCK! Please view all the pictures and feel free to email me with any questions you might have about the vehicle. I've priced the vehicle pretty much around the price I truly feel comfortable selling it for considering its condition, so pick your best offers wisely and we'll see what we can do.
