1992 Volkswagen Cabriolet (digifant) with swapped 2.0 engine (3A block from Audi 80) -- PRETTY FAST !! - automatic transmission, and lowered suspension.The car has meanwhile 154k, however the engine as well as the transmission were COMPLETELY rebuilt at 145k in 2011, so they are also like "new".Perfect (and I mean perfect) condition. It has been taken care of since driven by my wife around town and by me just for fun. So it was not a commute car.Super clean, no damage/major dents, no rust at all, shiny paint, seats still in great condition.We purchase it in 2009 with 128k on it and I did all the upgrades later on.Lot of parts have been replaced - see list below. ENGINE rebuilt with:- new piston rings- new bearings- new all over seals- new oil pump- new timing belt- new motor mounts- new 3.5 bar fuel pressure regulator (BOSCH 0280160263 used in Porsche Carrera)- new accelerator cable- new PCV valve- new temperature sensorCylinder HEAD rebuilt with:- new valve springs- new valve seals- all new cam followers (!)TRANSMISSION rebuilt with:- new clutches and steals- new pistons- new piston seals- new all over sealsOTHER things done/replaced:- new battery (bought in January)- brand new rims and tires were purchased in 2012- tinted windshield was replaced in 2010 and still looks like new- new front brake pads (replaced 2 weeks ago). Rear brakes were done in 2009 and are still in very good shape- muffler was replaced in 2010- radiator was replaced in 2009- AC was recharged with R12 in 2009 and working perfectly until today- O2 sensor was replaced in 2010- All fuel lines were replaced in 2010 (or 2011) due to failed EVAP test - Convertible top roof was replaced in 2010EXTRAS: - Power locks (with remote start)- Power windows- Sony Xplode radio and speakers (sound quality is however average at best (since no separate amplifier) and radio reception is also pretty week (most likely another antenna would do the trick)- Driver sport seat (I have also the passenger side one in the garage so you can have it if you want). Or you can have the original driver seat which I also still have but its leather is damaged so it does not look nice- Smoke clear rear lights (NOT painted or whatsoever)- Professionally tinted rear windows (heat reflecting tint foil)
