1963 Cadillac Convertible - this car is very complete, straight and rust free. Stored in a barn since 1991 - The complete convertible top mechanism and motor is all there and was operational last time the car was driven regularly. Top fabric will need to be replaced. The original red paint has surface rust present from sitting, but no cancer holes in the car - there are spots of blended red primer on the car but no apparent previous body work or collisions. Fender skirts are in the trunk. The only bad rust is contained to the typical front lower right and left bumper "bowls" which are a bolt on replacement item. Floors seem to be real solid. We did start this car and drive it around the parking lot last week, seems to run and drive ok, but it will require a thorough tune up and mechanical assessment. At some point in history, it looks like someone was working on the drivers side window controls (see picture) which are still disassembled but again the parts all seem to be there. The tires hold air for easy loading on a trailer but are still the (dry rotted) four ply tires from 1991. This is an excellent candidate for full restoration or custom cruiser. It runs well enough that it should be an easy load on the trailer / car hauler. Please feel free to ask questions! thanks for looking.
