Vehicle Detail

1936 Ford Roadster Only 4000 miles since completion A clean, simple, traditionally built hot rod. The car was completed 20 years ago in Oregon as a weekend driver by an antique car buff with a 30+ car collection; but it has less than 4000 miles since then! Misc small chips and scratches have been earned over the years, but nothing significant that would detract from enjoying and showing this great car. DRIVETRAIN: 1968 Chevy 327/300 hp engine (completely stock with 20k miles on rebuild) with 1939 Ford toploader 3-speed trans (78-series case, 3" forks, double-detent tower; fresh full rebuild) BODY: Nice Ford steel fenders, hood, and running boards from the west coast Stock Ford west coast frame -- no rust or patches. SOLID! 'Pat Mooney' (Automotive Specialties -- Washington state) body shell with a rumble seat -- similar to a Wescott body being accurate to original with correct firewall and floor with a steel tube inner cage. Only 60 bodies were built for the restoration market. 1961 Lincoln "Black Cherry" single stage urethane 'Lebaron-Bonney' Tobacco interior and 'Haartz' tan canvas top & side curtains Stainless Steel 'Girtz' top irons and 'Wescott' stock height windshield stanchions Stainless Steel bumpers and bumper irons (rear irons are shortened style) CHASSIS: 1946 front axle/wishbone and 1936 rear axle/wishbones (4.11; rebuilt) Front and rear 'Posie Superslide' springs and 'Pete & Jake' tube shocks 'MT Products' 1939 Lincoln (Lockheed duo-servo) front brakes w/ Buick finned drums; 'MT Products' Lincoln rear ribbed drums on 1946 (Bendix) brake assemblies 'Tanks' 16 gallon steel fuel tank Polished 'Rocket' (Radir copy) wheels 15 x 6 and 15 x 7 with BFG radials; 185/65R15 front & 255/70R15 rear (new 2014). Included with the car: (5) Wide-5 wheels with WW Firestone tires, spider caps & rings, 1939 wide-5 brake drum set, and stock spare tire mount and cover. I'm looking to move into a steel bodied Ford coupe or convertible from 1932 - 1934, 1939 Deluxe, or 1940. Pre-68 Corvettes also possible. NO BROKERS or sale website help needed.
