Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE FOR SALE: HONDA CR500 Parts Bike When I purchased the bike a few years ago, the owner told me it is a running bike, apparently the owner was a ice-racer and this was his back up motor, this is a complete bike. With that said, I went on eBay and purchased another running spare CR500 motor/pipe/carb as a backup. It was put in a temperature-controlled storage vault until I was ready to restore the bike. I have since gone on and collected various parts for the bike along the way, while restoring and finishing other VMX projects. My initial intent for this project was to buy spares and restore the pieces for the bike until I was ready to commit restoring this bike as a whole. Recent injuries have forced me to sell my collection of VMX motorcycles. The spare bike parts were in the various stages restoration process listed below: - Spare running CR500 motor/pipe/carb - Spare wheel set, front and rear. Needs to be restored - Spare frame set and swing arm, shock. Needs to be restored - I’m throwing in a modern, (early 90’s) Honda CR500 front fork. Needs rebuild - Restored spare air box - Various pieces of spare aluminum brackets and tabs have been restored - Various pieces of spare metal parts, (i.e. foot pegs, exhaust brakects, etc.) have been restored - There are various plastic OEM pieces the are either original, new or needs to be restored - There is one spare OEM tank and 4 other Honda metal tanks that I was in the process of modifying and fitting to the bike to give it that early air-cooled works, (1980-82) RC Honda look - New pair of handlebars, air filters, spare engine gaskets, some cables, etc. - There are a lot of misc. parts that will go with the motorcycle. My intent is to sell the motorcycle and all the parts that go with this sale as one price. DON’T ASK, WILL NOT PART. Buyer pays for additional state taxes, shipping and handling.
