1974 Corvette Stingray L82, Muncie 4 Speed, Matching Numbers Car Here is a one prior family owned 1974 L82 w/Muncie 4 Speed, T Tops. This is the one to have and drive as is or restore. Numbers match and motor is original coded L82, Original color dark Red (Burgundy) over Saddle leather. Car was in storage for many years. New tires, New brakes and calipers on front, Fuel system cleaned from tank to carb. Original Q jet needs rebuild. Car needs a tune. Hooker Competition headers/side pipes. Front and Rear Bumper cover's need to be replaced as I am daily driving and rear bumper cover was removed. New Flex Fit bumper covers are on order and included with the ca from Wilcox Corvette. The rear half of car was painted once due to rear prior rear bumper replacement (1st time) w/ another original type urethane part. So the paint looks good from the doors back. The body and frame are solid. The clear coat is checking and cracking (Crow's Feet) w/ oxidation on the top surfaces, hood, front fenders, t-tops. No damage to the fibergless other than one small crack on the front cowl 1" long. The interior is all there just a little tired but dash board, T top interior panels and carpet are new replaced by prior owner and in great shape. Suspension is ok but needs new bushings in front. Power steering leaks a bit not sure from which part. Also could use valve cover gaskets. Original air cleaner assembly included and complete. The car starts right up and runs ok. The choke is not working properly so cold blooded on cold start but runs ok once warm. Very strong engine and trans and shifts very smooth and clutch feels ok. Muncie gear box is excellent. Car drives tight and handles very well. T Tops don't leak and fit well. I have driven this car almost every day for the past month with no issues. AC is in place but not working. Blower fan not working. Both of these are a pretty easy fix. I would drive the car anywhere. Wipers, Lights, Turn Signals, locks, windows all working. This car is a great investment and will only go up in value in the very near future. You just don't see time capsules like this very often.
