Built in December of 1969 and sold new in California in 1970. One owner from new with books and records. Sold new by Triumph dealers Holiday Motors in Van Nuys, California. This Triumph comes with the TR license plates, California title, and current registration. This car has never had an accident or had any rust. The body is exceptional and all panels and door gaps are as factory. The engine has low oil pressure and may need bearings but is not smokey at all. The gearbox is also a little noisy, however the car runs and drives strong and can be driven daily. The original factor color is the very desirable deep blue with black interior. Under the hood and trunk is still blue so it would be very easy to put back to the original color unless you adore the yellow. The interior is very acceptable for its age, due to it always being garaged. The miles are 70K but show 40K due to a new speedometer 30K miles ago. It comes with the original spare wheel, boot cover, and tonneau cover which are all in good condition. All gauges work, along with the lights, flashers, etc. The Burl wood dash is very nice, as well. Very seldom do these early TR6's come along that are one owner with all this history. This is a fabulous running and driving car to do a light restoration to.
