The car was delivered new in California and the second owner purchased the car in 1970. It has not been driven for 35 years and has been kept in the previous owner's wool shed the entire time. It was last started 20 years ago. The engine still turns very freely and has clean oil. This is the big valve Weber carb model which is very desirable. Both the chassis and suspension have no rust and the car has never been in any accidents. It has a few dents and dings here and there. The fiberglass is extremely good with very few stress cracks. The car took a bit of weathering in the shed but the important areas are excellent. The car comes with a windshield but will need a new support along with window frames. The dash is very complete although the wood will need replacing when you restore it. The original steering wheel is very solid and in good condition. The doors shut very well with no sagging and have good gaps along with the trunk. The engine bay is tidy and un-messed with. This car is very low mileage and the engine was last started in 1990 so it should run easily with a little fettling. The car comes with the factory knock off wheels and its in its original factory color of British Racing Green. This would be a fabulous and easy car to restore.
