The 1966 Jaguar S Type is one of the most beautiful cars ever built. The lines, the leather, the grill, the wood and that amazing dual overhead cam straight six all come together to say Jaguar. This car is not perfect (reflected in the price) but requires nothing and can be driven anywhere the minute you pick her up. I purchased the car from an individual locally here in St. Louis who regularly used her for long excursions with friends around the area. Many of his trips were hours away and she never let him down. The engine runs strong, the brakes are good, and the transmission shifts effortlessly. The paint is about a 15 footer (looks very good from 15 feet). I've considered painting the car but it's just too nice to repaint and one of the features of the car that I really like is that I don't have to worry about it (it's an amazing driver!!!!). The interior is original and remains Jaguar impressive after all these years. The tires are in excellent condition. Again, she needs nothing for you to enjoy the minute you pick her up. If you want a fun car to take to party, to cruse to the car show, to take friend to dinner, or for that next excursion, this car is an excellent choice.
