Up for auction is this stunning 1965 Triumph TR4. I am selling this car for a customer who has developed medical issues that caused him to decided to sell this freshly restored beauty with less than a 100 miles on it. The restoration began with a relatively rust free car from the high desserts of Colorado. It was stripped down to it's last nut and bolt. The frame was then professionally sand blasted and powder coated. All of the suspension parts were cleaned and new bushings, shocks, steering rack and tie rod ends were installed. The transmission was professionally restored with new parts including new clutch components. The motor was also professionally rebuilt by a machine shop. Including new 97 mm sleeves and pistons, bearings, reground crank and cam. The head has all new valves, guides, and harden seats. The drive shaft was cleaned and new U joints were installed. The radiator and heater core were professionally cleaned and are fully functioning without leaks. The brakes were gone through and filled with silicone brake fluid. It also has a new set of tires. The originally white body was stripped and repainted red in a one stage PPG paint before being rejoined with the frame. New chrome bumpers and over-riders were installed. The car has all new interior components including new leather seats, cut pile carpets, and new door panels. All the switches and gauges are working in the wood dash. A new top and new windshield were installed. This car is not a concourse level car but is an extremely nice driver. The car grabs attention from anyone that sees it and it is a pleasure to drive. All the work has been done and it's ready for a new home. The Stromberg carbs were rebuilt with new throttle shafts. Just drove this TR. Runs and drives true with plenty of power.
