I hate to not finish it, but I've got a lead sled style project that I can't wait to start on. 1968 Short bed step side. Clear Virginia title! It has been converted to 5 lug all around along with power brakes with discs on the front. Engine is a 350 (3970010 casting) with a holley aluminum intake and carburetor. Engine appears to have been rebuilt, heads are really clean. Truck is currently not running. Previous owner passed away before getting the engine wired and exhaust installed. Transmission is an automatic, appears to be TH350. Body is really solid with the rockers and cab corners already replaced at some point in its life. Bed sides have a few small rust spots but it's all flat metal easy to fix. Bottom of doors are very nice and not rusted out. Windows roll up and down. I have the cranks and handles for the interior. Also 2 sets of panels for the door. The truck is just mocked up for pictures, nothing is tight or adjusted. I have the back glass. Bed has nice wood and strips. It does need a bolt kit for install. The wood needs to be finished in your desired finish. It is the correct wood for the truck, not just some junk cut and laid in it. Interior has been sprayed black. Nice bench seat with no tears. I have new carpet and metal seal plates. I have 2 used gauge clusters, 3 glove box doors, dash pad, sun visors, rear view mirror, etc. I reserve the right to end the auction early IF NO BIDS HAVE BEEN placed as it is for sale locally. Very little to buy to finish the truck, just some odd small pieces here and there probably. Please view the pictures carefully and ask any questions before bidding. UPDATE: 6/23 Added new pictures to the album in the link above. Truck has 12 bolt rear end. A day or 2 of work and this truck will be very nice. All glass is good and useable. I have an HEI distributor to go with the truck. Also the water hoses for the radiator. I've lowered the starting bid to the lowest as it will go. No reserve. I hate to sell it that cheap but I need the space in the shop to get started on my other car. This truck has been kept inside since the late 80s and I refuse to put it outside now.
