This is a VERY nice little sporty and powerful SUV with a 250hp 2.3 turbo charged motor that gets near 30 mpg.  I bought for my wife off eBay here about two weeks ago. We bought it knowing it had a bad turbo charger  ( smoked blue when turbo boosted ) . I took it and had a brand new OEM factory turbo installed and a full service and inspection, afterword it ran drive amazing  ( 1600.00 later)  yesterday i get in it to drive it to town, start it and its missing out for some reason.... I rented a scanner from auto zone and it has code for miss fire on #4 i put a new set of spark plugs in it as the auto parts store people said to and it didn't help. I spent all my money on it and can not afford to take it to shop again.... I don't know anymore about it. It starts and runs fine however has a slight miss and engine light is flashing on... it will need towed, if you buy it you can drive it short distance but i wouldn't want to..  body is near flawless! No dents dings or rust, possibly a small scratch but i haven't seen it.. The interior is flawless, The motor don't leak a drip and is clean. It don't smoke or knock at all.. ( brand new 1000.00 turbo)  a/c blows ice cold,  6 speed automatic transmission.  i have a clean clear title in hand... This is surely a simple fix for someone that knows more about these things...  selling as is where is.. I've described this car honestly and to the best of my ability. If there is something I've left out you would like to know please simply ask, that being said please ask any and all questions before bidding please.. On Jun-19-14 at 13:10:38 PDT, seller added the following information: Today  4/19/2014  i had a local  mechanic / car lot person come check out the car top to bottom. He pulled motor apart to the plugs and wanted to check compression in all cylinders to make sure the cause of the miss wasn't mechanical damage. compression is perfect across the board. 90-91 pounds in all 4 holes. i took pictures ( see pics ) of gauge in #4 hold and compared it to #3 and its same compression on the dot...  He said #4 is not getting fuel probably because of a bad fuel injector or wire going to the injector.. He made a offer but i want to let it go on ebay and let you guys decide its worth...  I WILL NOT END AUCTION! HIGH BID WINS!! please be advised, i can't and won't guarantee this diagnosis is the exact problem but now we all now its not a mechanical issue... thanks On Jun-19-14 at 13:20:16 PDT, seller added the following information: Forgot to add, The spark plugs and coils are fine.. there is spark on #4 but again, its not getting gas... Had someone ask about the compression only being 90 pounds, Turbo charged gas engines are lower compression.... This is typical and i looked up specs on this motor and 87-92 pounds is spec.
