I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a Toyota Tercel Red Hawk coupe. The Toyota Tercel has an excellent reputation as a simple and reliable car that is very easy on gas. This specific Tercel has had only one owner since new and was just traded on a brand new Toyota at Aubrey Alexander Toyota. This Tercel has covered just 85,000 miles in its life and is ready to go to a new home. As you can see, this is a good looking Tercel. It has the very desirable Red Hawk options package which was a $2,850 option when this car was new. The Red Hawk package gives this car alloy wheels, body colored bumpers and grill as well as a rear spoiler and special exterior and interior features. I would rate the exterior of this Toyota to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The body looks good. There are no major dents or scrapes...just a few scuffs and scratches from age. The paint is beginning to fade as most older red Toyota's do. It could use buffed and waxed to bring back its original shine and keep it looking good. The alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a good set of rubber with average tread all around. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The body colored bumpers, alloy wheels and rear spoiler give this Tercel a sporty look. Please take the time to check out each of the photos carefully. I would rate the interior of this Tercel to also be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. You have to push on the outside door handle to open the door as it is a little loose...which is common. The carpets show a few stains from age but aren't worn or abused. The drives seat is torn from age but is still comfortable. The dash and headliner are clean. The trunk is spacious and clean. The original radio has been replaced with an aftermarket CD player. The climate control system appears to be working but the blend door seems to be stuck as air does not blow out where you want it to. These are fairly simple cars so it should not be a huge deal. I can hear the fan working on all speeds and the air conditioning compressor turns on and off so all of the important stuff seems to be doing its thing. A full set of books and manuals are included as well as the original window sticker from 1997. Mechanically, this Toyota Tercel appears to be in good running and driving condition. The little 1.5L engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are excellent. The suspension feels tight for an older car. The steering and brakes also feel good. The engine is peppy and runs well. The keeps perfect temperature at all times. There was a check engine light on for the coolant temp sensor. I cleared it to see if it would come back. It hasn't come back yet but it may...just so you know. If the coolant temp sensor does need replaced, it is a $20 part that almost anyone can do themselves. The transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. Out on the highway, she drives nice and smooth with no complaints. If you're looking for a little gas sipper, this car definitely deserves your consideration. It is hard to find an older car that is good on gas AND doesn't have a million miles and a bunch of rust. This car has just 85,000 original miles and I couldn't find a spec of rust. This car should give its next owner years and years of service...all while getting 35mpg. Eventually, this little car will pay for itself in the gas it saves you. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a Toyota Tercel Red Hawk coupe. The Toyota Tercel has an excellent reputation as a simple and reliable car that is very easy on gas. This specific Tercel has had only one owner since new and was just traded on a brand new Toyota at Aubrey Alexander Toyota. This Tercel has covered just 85,000 miles in its life and is ready to go to a new home. As you can see, this is a good looking Tercel. It has the very desirable Red Hawk options package which was a $2,850 option when this car was new. The Red Hawk package gives this car alloy wheels, body colored bumpers and grill as well as a rear spoiler and special exterior and interior features. I would rate the exterior of this Toyota to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The body looks good. There are no major dents or scrapes...just a few scuffs and scratches from age. The paint is beginning to fade as most older red Toyota's do. It could use buffed and waxed to bring back its original shine and keep it looking good. The alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a good set of rubber with average tread all around. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The body colored bumpers, alloy wheels and rear spoiler give this Tercel a sporty look. Please take the time to check out each of the photos carefully.
I would rate the interior of this Tercel to also be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. You have to push on the outside door handle to open the door as it is a little loose...which is common. The carpets show a few stains from age but aren't worn or abused. The drives seat is torn from age but is still comfortable. The dash and headliner are clean. The trunk is spacious and clean. The original radio has been replaced with an aftermarket CD player. The climate control system appears to be working but the blend door seems to be stuck as air does not blow out where you want it to. These are fairly simple cars so it should not be a huge deal. I can hear the fan working on all speeds and the air conditioning compressor turns on and off so all of the important stuff seems to be doing its thing. A full set of books and manuals are included as well as the original window sticker from 1997.
Mechanically, this Toyota Tercel appears to be in good running and driving condition. The little 1.5L engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are excellent. The suspension feels tight for an older car. The steering and brakes also feel good. The engine is peppy and runs well. The keeps perfect temperature at all times. There was a check engine light on for the coolant temp sensor. I cleared it to see if it would come back. It hasn't come back yet but it may...just so you know. If the coolant temp sensor does need replaced, it is a $20 part that almost anyone can do themselves. The transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. Out on the highway, she drives nice and smooth with no complaints. If you're looking for a little gas sipper, this car definitely deserves your consideration. It is hard to find an older car that is good on gas AND doesn't have a million miles and a bunch of rust. This car has just 85,000 original miles and I couldn't find a spec of rust. This car should give its next owner years and years of service...all while getting 35mpg. Eventually, this little car will pay for itself in the gas it saves you. Winning Bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us via eBay Message within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. Please do not leave a voicemail on the office phone.
Full payment is due within 7 day of the auction's end. The prefferred method is to bring cash in person to complete the sale. If you are unable to bring cash in person within seven days or will be having the vehicle shipped, we also accept Certified Checks, USPS Postal Money Orders, and wire transfer.
PayPal is not an accepted payment method. This includes Bill Me Later.
We cannot accept credit cards or personal checks.
Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are able to complete most tag, registration, and title work, as well as collect sales tax, for Pennsylvania residents.
For out-of-state buyer we can issue a 30-day temporary tag (aka In-Transit tag). The cost is $39 and the buyer must show a valid driver's license and current proof of insurance.

We try to provide as thorough and accurate a description as possible as well as including 40-60 photos. Understand however, that we are not professional mechanics and cannot predict the future.
There is additional risk in purchasing a vehicle this way versus buying a vehicle from a retail dealership that has been fully serviced and has a warranty. You will pay considerably less this way, but understand our vehicles are sold AS-IS and do not carry any sort of warranty.
