Vehicle Detail
If you are looking to purchase a Classic 1969 Camaro Convertible with just the right amount of modernization this is the one. While the aesthetics of this vehicle retain all of the original look of an RS/SS, you could drive it into any dealer, plug in to the OBD, and diagnose any issues. That being said there have been zero issues with this car since the installation of the LS1 motor and L460E automatic transmission. This car was built by a professional mechanic with over 40 years of experience. He has owned his own car repair business for many, many years and always wanted to build a Camaro Convertible with an LS1 package. He looked for an original rust free car to start his project and found one, that met his requirements, in a southern state. He brought the car back to his business in New Jersey and started the project that took several years of painstaking detail to complete. In the build he put the best of everything he could find into the project. I have a bulging folder, that will come with the car, that has receipts for all that was put into the vehicle. Everything from stainless socket head bolts to conversion boxes to mate the digitized engine to old world speedometer/tachometer was used to make this a complete car. In the pictures I have included build sheets that he put together to show off not only the quality parts he used, but the pride that was put into the build. I looked for many years, on many sites, before I purchased this vehicle. To me it was the perfect match of old/new and it was readily apparent that it was built to standards that a meticulous person as myself could approve. I have owned the vehicle for 3 years and had a blast with it every time I get behind the wheel. You cannot go anywhere with this vehicle without a smile on your face and people everywhere indicating their approval through 'thumbs up' or positive comments. I am selling it to pursue other summer time activities and just do not have the time to drive this car. It is a vehicle that should be driven every sunny summer day that you have the chance. Mechanically this car is absolutely perfect. Put the key in, start it up and go. It does not have the tiniest speck of rust on the underside as it has not seen anything but dry roads for dozens of years. This is evidenced in the pictures as you look closely at the condition of any part of the build. The body is in fantastic condition, but not without a couple nicks in the paint. There is a small crack in the paint on the front left fender that was there when I purchased the vehicle. Other than that the panels match with the right gaps and it is a vehicle that anyone would be proud to own.
