"Bella Blue" is a 1982 Mercedes-Benz 300SD Turbo Diesel W126 in nearly 100% stock shape. With only 227,500 miles on the odometer in what was known as "The Million Mile Engine" and new tires on her, she is ready to begin a new journey. Having Collector Vehicle plates already on means no more Tags needed or yearly registration fees. I am the third owner and have driven her for 7 years as a daily driver, with many trips to California and back without being stranded once. Has been parked in front of my house since I had to buy a truck for my work, but I fire her right up on the first try about once a week. As the spring pollen coats her it just seems like it's time to sell. Being over 30 years old there are some issues that need to be attended... I'll try to list what I feel would be on my list to repair .... 1) Seems to be more 'sluggish' with acceleration. Could just need brake adjustment or bearings lubed or just a good tune-up. 2) Drivers side window and sunroof are not rolling down. 3) AC not blowing cold. (Installed a new blower motor). 4) Vacuum locking system seems to have a leak, works park of the time. I will post more photos once I give her a good washing. Thanks for looking.
