Vehicle Detail
*I must be cursed, ebay removed my listing stating that the winning bidder is no longer registered on ebay. Here we go again relisting. Let me answer some questions I have been receiving: Does the car have a title? Yes, it has a salvage title and depending on your states laws you will have to do certain things before having it titled and registered in your name. For example in CA all you have to do is get a brake and smog inspection, and then you can go to your motor vehicle bureau and get it registered. Where is the damage you mentioned about the back right side of the car? If you look at the picture of the right rear quarter panel you will notice the dents. The paint is intact so they are hard to notice. What does the car need to be finished? From the video Ive posted you can see the car is running and driving, but you will need to have the check engine and airbag lights turned off by a mechanic. What is your reserve and how much do you want to get for the car? I have spent total on the car $13,200, and would like to recoup my money, and this was not supposed to be a "flip" so I am not trying to make a large profit. I am in a tough situation where I have to move in the coming months, and am starting a business, so finishing this project and moving with it will not make sense. This car was involved in a light front end collision in the front including the fender, bumper, hood, and headlights. Mostly OEM parts were used in the rebuild, with exception of a new battery, and upper radiator hose. The car runs and drives, as I just took it on a 10 mile test drive. There are two small dents that run laterally on the right rear quarter panel that I was quoted $200 by Dentpros to removal via paintless dent removal process. Please note that the rules differ from state to state, but in California all you need to do to register a salvage titled vehicle is to perform a brake and taillamp inspection (+/-)$65 and a smog check (+/-)$50. After that the car can be registered like any other car. ***Also note that I previously had this car listed on my Purpleunicorn807 account, but due to my level of sales ebay is charging me higher fees to list, so instead the car is now listed on this account belonging to my girlfriend.** Here is a link to a Youtube video of me putting the top down, adjusting the folding side mirrors, taking a short drive, and finally putting the top up. http://youtu.be/3K5P-U9nYjM On Jun-02-14 at 14:03:11 PDT, seller added the following information:
