I drive every one of my sale vehicles and write a thorough description including the good and bad of the vehicle. I try to accurately describe any mechanical issues to the best of my ability, but I am not a mechanic. Please understand that these are used vehicles. They are not perfect. This truck has the straight six engine and 5-speed manual transmission. It may not win any beauty pageants, but it drives well and can haul a load of stuff. I've been using this truck a goodly bit the last two weeks hauling trash and scrap at my father's place. This truck is being sold as TMU. It has a 5 digit odometer that reads 77,xxx miles, but it only works sometimes, so the actual mileage is unknown. As you can clearly see, the body is straight, but the paint has faded. This is pretty common on the older American pickups. There is a little of the usual rust around the wheels . I sprayed it with Rustoleum rust converter spray to slow it down. The bed is a full 8 ft bed. The tailgate opens and closes easily. All the lights and glass are in good shape. The tires are a matching set of Goodyear Wranglers with good tread. The interior of the truck is in very good shape for an older work truck. The bench seat is comfortable and does not have any holes. The vinyl floor is easy to clean. The windows open and close easily. The dash is clean and free of cracks. The truck runs well. The straight six fires up easily and holds good oil pressure, temp, and voltage. It makes good power. The check engine light comes and goes, as is common for older OBD1 systems. It does not seem to affect the way it drives and my mechanic says it would not cause it to fail PA inspection. The transmission shifts smoothly and the clutch does not slip. The steering is straight and it does not wobble or pull. The brakes stop well and the parking brake works properly. This vehicle is being sold as is, where is with no warranty: expressed, written, or implied. It is the responsibility of the buyer to have satisfied himself or herself as to the condition and value of the vehicle and to bid based upon that judgement solely. The seller shall and will make every reasonable effort to disclose any known defects associated with this vehicle at the buyer's request prior to the close of sale. Seller assumes no responsibility for any repairs regardless of any oral statements about the vehicle.
If you wish to contact us for any reason, the quickest and best way to do so is through eBay's message system, AKA "Ask Seller a Question". Messages left on the office voicemail may take several days to get to the right person or get lost.
Bidding:
Please read the entire description and view all pictures before placing a bid. We go out of our way to provide as detailed of a description as possible as well as posting 40-60 photos of each vehicle. If you have any questions feel free to send us an email using the "Ask seller a Question" link so that we can answer your question. Please wait to place your bid until you are completely comfortable.
By placing a bid on our auction, you assert that you have read and agree to our Terms & Conditions as well as eBay's Terms & Conditions; you assert that you understand the risks of purchasing a used vehicle; and you assert that you have asked all questions PRIOR to placing your bid. Additionally, you enter into a binding contract to purchase the item they are bidding on should you be the winning bidder.
In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. This decision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time, while the auction is live or after the auction closes. The seller may, at its sole discretion, cancel any bid or restrict any member from bidding on this or future auctions.
Winning Bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us via eBay Message within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. Please do not leave a voicemail on the office phone.
Full payment is due within 7 day of the auction's end. The prefferred method is to bring cash in person to complete the sale. If you are unable to bring cash in person within seven days or will be having the vehicle shipped, we also accept Certified Checks, USPS Postal Money Orders, and wire transfer.
PayPal is not an accepted payment method. This includes Bill Me Later.
We cannot accept credit cards or personal checks.
Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are able to complete most tag, registration, and title work, as well as collect sales tax, for Pennsylvania residents.
For out-of-state buyer we can issue a 30-day temporary tag (aka In-Transit tag). The cost is $39 and the buyer must show a valid driver's license and current proof of insurance.
We offer a unique way of purchasing a vehicle. We sell vehicles to the public with No Reserve auction pricing. Most of the vehicles we sell are trade-ins at new car dealerships or high volume used dealerships in the area. We get a lot of interesting, unique vehicles and many that have minor flaws. We give every vehicle a thorough test drive and a visual inspection and describe what we see and feel to you in our descriptions. We try to provide as thorough and accurate a description as possible as well as including 40-60 photos. Understand however, that we are not professional mechanics and cannot predict the future.
There is additional risk in purchasing a vehicle this way versus buying a vehicle from a retail dealership that has been fully serviced and has a warranty. You will pay considerably less this way, but understand our vehicles are sold AS-IS and do not carry any sort of warranty.
