This 1950 Chevy Fleetline was built about 7 years ago and the mileage listed, 2,379, is since rebuild. Although it looks original from the outside with the exception of it's stance, a one piece windshield, chrome wheels and dual exhaust, there have been a few modifications. The drive train starts with a '54 235 with Fenton headers, dual carbs and electronic ignition followed by a TH350 transmission to a rearend out of a '77 Nova. The front end is a Mustang II manual rack and pinion with disk brakes, also manual, with a Flaming River tilt steering column. Inside is in dash air conditioning, modern instrument cluster, a custom interior and a custom sound system with 2 12" sub woofers behind the back seat. It was repainted in it's original Windsor Blue and with most of it's original chrome replated and just the rocker trim and front fender spears replaced with aftermarket pieces. It's not a fast car but a nice cruiser that handles nicely at 70 - 75 mph on the highway and looks good doing it!
