Up for bid is my 1968 Honda CB450 motorcycle. The bike is a great candidate for restoration or ride like it is with just a little work. I am not an expert on old motorcycles so PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS. I will be happy to answer them as best I can. I work days so I will probably need to answer them after work so be patient. I will respond, just might take a little bit. I tried to take pictures at lots of different angles so hopefully they will answer most questions. There are some parts on the bike that may not be original and there are a few pieces missing. The missing ones were available on line when I looked for them. The bike hasn't run in over a year but ran fine when it was garaged. The gas in it is old and probably bad and might have gunked up the carbs. It will need to be trailered home. The battery is also dead from sitting but charging it may bring that back to life, I'm not sure. The inside of the tank was coated by a previous owner and it looks pretty clean. The seat as you can see from the pics has a few separations in it. The handlebars have a slight bend to one side. The side covers are missing. The rear tail light assembly does not appear to be the correct one for this bike. the speedometer and tach both work along with the lights. There are no turn signals on the bike either. I don't know if they came with them or they are just missing. The tires hold air but have a little dry cracking to them The tread looks O.K. on the front tire but the rear is pretty worn. The chrome isn't too bad but does have tiny spots on it. I'm not sure if some of that will buff out or not. The exhaust looks good with no holes that I can see. I have one original key and the title is a good Ohio title in my name. There will be no shipping for this. It will need to be picked up in Findlay, Ohio at my home. I will be around to help load if necessary. It will need to be hauled home on a trailer as I mentioned. A $100.00 dollar NON-REFUNDABLE deposit will need to be put into my paypal account within 24 hours of the auction end (This keeps people from backing out of the transaction). Hopefully this answers most questions but as I stated before, don't hesitate to ask more. I will be glad to answer them as best I can. This is a great old bike and deserves to be restored and rode again!
