Today we are listing a 2004 Suzuki GSXR 1000 with 17,339 miles. This is the king of the pure sport bikes. This listing is a unique opportunity to own an open-class GSXR for a fraction of what it cost new. This bike is all here and is a solid platform to build a strong track-day bike or a fine looking street bike. It will just take a little elbow grease. Our GSXR fires right up, and runs around the lot with ease. All the lights, signals and horn work as they should. The tires are in great shape with lots of life left and the plastics, except for the windshield, are all solid. The miles are not excessive either, especially for a GSXR power-plant. There are no excessive dents, scrapes or body damage to this machine, just usual road wear and tear. All in all this is a great inexpensive liter bike that just needs a bit of love. Here are a few condition observations: This bike will need a chain guard as it is missing. The break lever is broken and could use a replacement at some point. The windshield is damaged (see images) and should be replaced but not necessary as it is only cosmetic. The exhaust is a custom under-tail system that works fine, but has significant surface rust. You might be able to remove, paint and re-install…but it also might be best just to replace. The stock configuration is a side swept back style. We do not have the original pipe. The paint and bodywork are in fair shape. The frame is dirty and could use a good cleaning. The rear brakes will need pads, and we only have one key. We have also noticed that the ignition switch is temperamental. We have a clean title for easy registration. Our reserve is below clean trade so bid today and save.
