Vehicle Detail

As a street rod guy, I originally bought this vehicle with intentions of turning it into a chopped, dropped, balls-to-the-wall supercharged street machine. But the more I look at it, the more I believe it should remain original. I've found another car more deserving of my "tear it apart and build a street rod" mentality. So here is a rare, 87-year old, original, Chevrolet automobile up for auction . . . This beautiful Historic Vehicle is ready for parades or a country ride with the family. 1927 Chevy 2-door AA Capitol Saloon Coach. NO RESERVE ! It is very difficult to find a AA Capitol Saloon Coach, especially one in such good condition as this. The Heartbeat of America even in 1927.Don’t let this one slip away. She’s got an original 171-ci overhead valve engine and 3-speed manual transmission. It goes down the road straight, shifts smoothly, and the 2-wheel mechanical brakes stop you just as designed. This 2-door coach is graced with an older, excellent restoration in very good shape with a few chips and scratches as you would expect from a vehicle that has been enjoyed as it should be. Lots of thumbs-up wherever she goes. You can’t help but smile when you’re driving this sweet old Chevy. The comfy interior is in good original condition with no smoke odors. The four side windows roll up and down with ease. The windshield rolls up about 4" for ventilation. Unlike the Ford tilt-out windshields, the Chevy roll-up windshields do not emit a whistling wind noise while driving nor do they leak around the seals. The doors open and close nicely. The rubberized top is tight with no tears. She’s in wonderful condition for her age and therefore a great candidate for a Museum Quality Restoration, Advertising & Promotional use, a parade car, or just use it as is and have a great time with the family! Put your friends or the kids in the back, roll up the windshield, and go for a cruise to the drive-in or the local car show or for a drive in the country. If you’re looking for a very rare 1927 Chevrolet, you won’t find a better example than this beauty – especially at this price.NADA lists the value of a 1927 AA Capitol Saloon Coach as $7,175 for a low-quality car and $19,300 for a high-quality car.I am holding a clear, lien-free, 1927 title in my name. If you have less than 5 feedbacks, contact me before bidding or I may cancel your bid. NOTE:The trailer pictured is a heavy-duty tandam-axle utility trailer with ramp (see photos). If you don't want to hire a hauler to transport this car, I will offer the trailer for sale. This way, you could drive here, hook up the trailer, and haul the car home yourself.I would offer the 1998 Dodge Conversion van (runs great) for sale, too. You could fly in (Norfolk, VA or Salisbury, MD) and drive the entire package home. The Dodge has 4 captain's seats, a 3rd row seat that converts to a bed, AC, CD, etc.In addition, I have a 1984 Ford work van for less money that would tow the trailer with car nicely. The Ford ain't much to look at, but it runs good and has been dependable.
