Up for auction is my 1969 Olds 98 convertible, with 49,359 original miles. I purchased the car approx. 4 years ago as a project, and have done extensive motor drivability and appearance details. The car starts, runs, drives, stops like a 49,000 mile car should. The reason I am selling the car is I am downsizing my collection. I bought the car from a gentleman that had the car stored for seven years, and when I am not out driving to car shows or cruising, the car is stored in my garage. The car is not perfect, but everything is there and intact as was from the factory, and has the potential to be a great show car. This 98 came equiped with power steering, brakes, antenna, power top, seats, windows. This 98 also came with tilt and telescopic steering wheel, along with the horn button in the steering wheel which is a rare option but is currently not working. The air conditioning and cruise control are there, but are currently not working as well. The powertrain is matching numbers 455 Cu inch engine with matching numbers turbo hydramatic transmission. The person I purchased the car from had replaced the convertible top and the tires before I bought the car. The frame is solid the body has some small rust spots, but none are visible, and two very small door dings. The car is for sale locally, and I may end auction early if the car sells outside of ebay.
