Vehicle Detail
You are looking at a very nice 1985 Chevy truck. I bought this truck in 2012 from a friend of mine, he had the 454 placed in it as well as the transmission (not sure which it is) and the A/C. After I drove it a few times I decided to make if more comfortable to drive starting with the interior, so I gutted the interior and took the front buckets from another GM vehicle and console and had them redone in black leather/suede with the blue diamond stitching, I had the headrests embroidered with 454. I even had the original seat belts switched over and retro-fitted them to the truck, I also had all new insulation and carpet put in and ran it all the way up to the back glass to help with sound deadening. I replaced the steering wheel and installed tilt wheel now the truck is as comfortable to drive as you could ask for. I put a new exhaust on the truck, not extremely loud, but gives you enough rumble to know that you have some HP at your disposal. The A/C blows ice cold and the original radio works, The previous owner had put in the headliner you see with speakers and an aftermarket radio, its a very cool idea radio worked before I replaced interior I think they knocked wire loose so I just use the original. The tires on this truck are in great shape, as are the wheels. The truck uses no oil and runs awesome. I replaced the starter and 1000 cranking amp battery also put a larger radiator in made for big blocks never runs over 210 I would not hesitate to drive this truck anywhere. I do have clear title in hand and it does show a previously rebuilt and true mileage unknown. The mileage part is pretty standard in KY at least, after 10 years the state recognizes all vehicles of having potentially unknown mileage. The odometer shows 67K but I have honestly no way of knowing if that is correct or not. I bought the truck knowing these things, and to me they are irrelevant when you get to these year models and types of vehicles. I know the previous owner and I have had this truck apart anyway painting and replacing everything it needed. This truck really needs to be seen and driven to appreciate the work and detail that has been put in it. This truck would be great to drive to car shows and meets don't have to trailer it I would drive it anywhere. It is very classic and tasteful while still having enough comfort to make it a driver. If you have any questions feel free to call me and I will answer anything I can for you. If you are close enough to come take a look at it you are more than welcome to come by and drive it. I am a car dealer but this truck was one out of my personal cars. I love to hear offers that are within reason and I will consider trading on just about anything. I do reserve the right to end this listing at anytime due to the truck being for sale locally as well. Thanks Mike Jones 606-524-6005 cell
