We are moving out of town and, sadly, we have to let our baby go. Affectionately dubbed, "The Lizard," this green '74 VW is a joy to both look at and drive. Here's the run down:I am the second owner, having bought the car in 1982.The car has roughly 85,000 miles and has been garaged kept since I took possession.It has not been modified or molested in anyway. The motor, carb, trans-axel -- all are original.The motor starts immediately and runs pure and true.The car was repainted in its original color in 1998 and had the brakes redone in 2010. The only problems with the car are a mirror that has developed some rust within it and some bubbling on the rocker panels (see photos) possibly indicative of rust.Please do not hesitate to ask any questions you may have or if you would like to come see the car.Thanks!
