*Quick and important note: Please know that I apologize for the bad photos in this auction due to the rain and it is very important for you to know that there is nothing at all wrong with the hood of the car, it was purposely opened by myself. The hood was opened in the photos also because when I removed the car from my garage after being there in storage, the battery was dead and I had to charge the battery. As I already mentioned in this auction, the car will most likely need a new battery upon the sale since it is not holding the new charge and that must be due to the old age of it, I never changed the battery while I owned the car and also the previous owner (who did ALL of the custom work also verified with me that he had never changed the battery either. A battery can be found for under $100 and most auto stores will also install it for you. Once I know the car is purchased and the auction is won by someone, I "might" go ahead and include a new battery in the sale so that when you receive the car, it will already have a new battery installed. It really depends on if I have enough money at that time. That is why I said, if someone purchases the car, then I will have sufficient funds to purchase the battery for you ahead of time. The last time the car did sell, but the buyer could not come up with the full balance in time. I even was extremely nice (knowing how badly and fast I NEEDED that money) and gave him a huge amount of time extra! Just so you know, I will NOT BE DOING THAT AGAIN, now that I am selling the car this time for MUCH less than what I sold it before for I will need to be sure that whoever wins this auction is able to follow the below payment schedule. I had to wait a long time before I was able to re-list the car with eBay, I made the decision to make a much, much, much, larger of a loss on the car just so that I can have enough money to move next month and cover my living expenses for myself and my 3 children. I am a single father with 3 children, I am on temp. disability, my mother just passed away after living with me and my children for the last approx. 6 years helping her to fight the terrible disease of Stage IV advanced cancer. Since she was paying for the rent and some other bills, I am forced to move now to a much smaller home and much less monthly expenses. So I REALLY NEED TO SELL THE CAR ASAP. **THIS CAR "TRULY" IS PRICED TO SELL FAST!!! You do not need to be a rocket scientist to know that this is a steal. You could buy this car and sell it immediately on eBay and make a pretty good profit. You just need to have the time, which I do not have! In the first auction I had it on the "Buy it Now" option for $9,959.00 initially, which is still a great deal. I was forced to continue to update my listing and lower the price constantly. Now I am at less than 1/2 of that price which is very difficult for me. *Be certain to read ALL of the "features", "options" and "custom work". Just knowing basic math, you should be able to figure out that based on the total investment made on this vehicle, that the price I am asking for this car makes absolutely makes no sense at all for me. It will be extremely obvious to you that this vehicle is really worth a lot more money. Also, very important for you to be aware of, I purchased this car the way you see it. I personally did NOT do any of the customized work on this vehicle. The only thing I have done since purchasing this car was normal maintenance. I also ONLY USE "FULLY SYNTHETIC OIL" for every oil change! It is more expensive, but well worth it, especially for this "engine sent from heaven"! Oh, I apologize, I did do some very small cosmetic work, such as adding a model number to the rear of the vehicle (which can easily be removed if you do not like it). I also purchased and started to install Silver and Black custom plates to cover the gas pedal and break pedal. This is not a permanent change and can also be removed if you would like. The front end, rear end and side rear view mirrors were all used from the actual manufacturer of BMW, this also includes all of the BMW badges on the car. This is why most people that see the car think that it is a BMW of some sort, but obviously most people know it is an Acura Integra with some custom BMW changes on it. The most important part of purchasing any car is that the car drives, runs and handles EXTREMELY WELL. You will always love driving this car, it is a very FUN CAR TO DRIVE. You will never get sick of driving this car. It also makes me feel great to drive my children in the car, knowing that it is an Acura with one of the greatest engines built (in my opinion). It is the GS-R Model with the VTEC (even better quality than the average "Honda, Acura" engine). It really gives me "piece of mind" knowing that the car is extremely reliable at all times. As a Father, this is one of the most important factors when driving your own children in your car. I have been always driving my Mother's car, which is a Honda Accord, so that I was able to put my Acura in the garage and keep it there in storage. The exhaust system is also truly incredible! Again, since I do not know much about cars at all, I do not know what he installed (he told me when I purchased the car originally, but I forgot). All I can tell you is that when you "feel" a car pass you on the road from it having a very good quality it feels and sounds terrific. When I drive this car, it does the same thing as all of "those other cars with the great sounding exhaust systems! It has an extremely low and deep rumble sound, and when you "push it", that is when it sounds and feels the sweetest! Also be prepared to be the owner of a car that is a real "HEAD TURNER"!! You will get so much attention driving this car. People are always looking at you, taking out their cell phones and taking photos of it and asking all types of questions when you are stopped for shopping, getting gas or something. I have always noticed that I got the most attention whenever I had to open the Lamborghini doors up! That is something that you just can't ignore. It just looks so cool. By the way, if you need more of the same exact paint for any reason at all, it is located at xoticcolours.com and it is called: Ocean Teal. The last time I looked at the website, I was not able to locate that "name" for the color. I think that now, they just show a small example of the Chameleon (color changing paint) and that is how you choose. In this case, it is the one that has purple/blue/emerald green. Since the car's suspension uses (AIR) or Nitrogen Air along with the switch box (controls exactly which part of the car you want raised and/or lowered), you will need to have the canisters re-filled once they run out of air. When I was driving the car fairly often (when I first purchased it), I found it to take a very long time before I would have to get my air tank filled. Also, so you know, I will provide you with two (2) tanks upon the delivery of the car. When I purchased the car, I was only given one (1) canister and then later purchased a second one. This makes it a lot easier and less of a hassle to have the tank(s) re-filled. The person I purchased the car from advised me that whenever he would "show" the car at a Car Show, he would DROP THE CAR ALL OF THE WAY TO THE GROUND, which makes the car look extremely cool (you should NEVER drive the car in this low of a position). He also advised me that he would change it up every once in a while, for example, he would have the rear end up high and the front end down really low, or the other way around, and have the front end up really high and the back end really low. The great thing about having this air suspension is that you are able to customize the exact height of the "lift" of the car at the touch of a button anytime! You should also NEVER change the suspension level while driving the car. Any suspension adjustments should be completed while the car is stopped and turned off (for your personal safety reasons). The person I purchased the car from also installed some type of a "Cold Air Intake" in the engine. He advised me that it increases the power of the engine a lot. Since I do not know much about cars or engines in general, I really have no idea what this added feature is and do not know exactly how it improves the overall performance of the car. All I know is that it has "more" power than I need personally, LOL! He also advised me that due to the installation of this Cold Air Intake, it makes certain lights on the dashboard light up, such as the "check engine" light and a few others. He told me that he was unable to hook this part up into the engine without these lights turning on the dashboard. He assumed that since the part was not installed by the manufacturer nor by Acura (Honda) directly, it will not accept it in the engine's computer and it has to be re-set or set to accept the installation. To be honest, I was a little worried about the "check engine" light and other misc. lights being on, but now, after owning the car and driving it for so long, I now know that there is absolutely nothing wrong with anything that the light indicates there is a problem for. I even went out of my way and brought the car to a small repair garage so that they could hook the car's engine up to the computer and they also verified that nothing came up on their computer indicated any problems with the car's computer. **VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION THAT "MAY" INCREASE THE OVERALL VALUE OF THIS VEHICLE EVEN MORE: Only 16% of ALL of the Acura Integra vehicles manufactured in 1998 have the GS-R Edition with the "(VTEC) Engine". I would think that this alone makes this car worth even more money if the statement is actually true. I had found this information somewhere on the internet (I think it was the Kelly Blue Book website? Just think, obviously, anything that is extremely rare and hard to find increases the value automatically. Think of it this way, even if the above statement was not true, you have nothing to lose, only the possibility of it being worth more money than the average model. Payment and Shipping Requirements: The buyer agrees to pay the non-refundable $500.00 deposit fee immediately following the end of the auction. Then the buyer will have a total of up to 4-7 days (including weekends and holidays) the 4-7 days is up to the seller's discretion. In other words, I "may" advise you that I must have the full remaining balance paid to me by the 4th day, 5th day, 6th day or 7th day to have the remaining balance paid into the seller's PayPal account. If you will be picking up the car in person then you have a choice to pay me using either PayPal still or a Bank Account/Cashier's Check or CASH to pay the full remaining balance at that time of personal pick up. Please understand that if you are going to have the vehicle delivered by a 3rd party, I also reserve the right to have the option to request that the full remaining balance be paid to me anywhere between the 4th day to the 7th day after the close of the auction. If for any reason, they buyer is not able to pay the full remaining balance when I advise you that the payment must be made by a certain day, they buyer agrees to any "cancellation" of the entire order..In other words, you will accept to cancel the transaction if put in a rquest for you to pay by a certain day. This request over rides eBay's request of when the full payment must be paid to the seller by. what option the buyer also agrees that ALL COSTS, SCHEDULING ISSUES, AND EVERYTHING ELSE HAVING TO DO WITH HAVING THE VEHICLE DELIVERED.
