I didn't really want or need this old girl when I found her in a local residents garage. But it was just to cool and complete to pass by. I would look like a circus bear on it but I knew someone out there would appreciate a 50 year old toy that looked as nice as this one does. My intention was to just sell it as I found it, dirt, dust and all. But I rubbed of the dirt on the chrome and it shined like new. Then I cleaned the grime off the painted surfaces and they shined up. It truly has a personality that just made me smile as I gave her the first bath in years. The original owner's son, whom I bought it from, said its been all over the USA on the back of an old Winnegego. They used it to get around the campgrounds and to go to the local grocery store back in the day. I didn't get it running but it has great compression. But, those that know me know I can't kick a bike over. Bad right knee that I just had replaced and the left knee is next. The previous owner said it runs and idles all day as recently as last riding season. Honestly I'm further into it than I had planned to be. I have a feeling if someone takes the time to clean the tank and give her the once over she will start right up. But no guarantee's. She's a 50 year old survivor and deserves to have an owner that will love her and take care of her. What a great restoration project this will make for someone. I'm starting the auction at the price I paid for her. If it doesn't sell I'll just keep her and add her to my collection as the oldest Honda I own.
