Vehicle Detail
2002 Subaru Outback H6 3.0L LL Bean Edition Title This car has a SALVAGED title. If you don't know what this means are or uncomfortable with a SALVAGED title, then simply please do not bid. As to the salvaged title, this car was in a fender-bender in 2003. The damage was mostly cosmetic but because the radiator had to be replaced, it was issued a salvaged title. There was no structural damage, the body damage was repaired at a body shop, the radiator was replaced with a new OEM radiator, and since then the car has been driven for over 85000 miles without any major mechanical issues. Accident History Since the above mentioned incident, the car was side-swiped while parked on the street in our neighborhood. The damage was all cosmetic and was repaired by a local body shop. Condition The paint on the hood and around the front of the roof is oxidizing. The interior is in generally good condition, but the driver's side seat shows wear in the leather. The interior could probably use a good cleaning and shampooing of the carpets. Mechanically the car starts and runs fine, however I am not a mechanic nor have I taken the car to a mechanic for any kind of thorough mechanical inspection. I am unaware of mechanical problems with the car that might or might not be revealed during an inspection. As such, the car is sold AS IS. Test Drives I am available for potential local buyers to test drive the vehicle. My availability is primarily in the evenings of week days. The Car This car has been reliable for me, and has served as a family car as well as a car to take to the snow on weekends for snowboarding, etc. The AWD is very handy. A favorite feature of the LL Bean Edition is the dual sun roofs, one over the front seats, the other over the rear seats.
