Up for sale is an exceptional blue pearl metallic XK8. Body and OEM wheels have been recently painted (due to some fading and minor curb rash), and are flawless with no scratches or dents. The interior looks very fresh with very minor signs of use. All power accessories work properly. The car has 56,000 miles, but the engine has been replaced with another low mileage (60,000) XK8 engine with all original accessories. We decided to replace the engine because the original plastic thermostat housing had cracked and caused engine overheating. The engine has been updated with all the parts that make the Jag 4.0 V8 reliable ( updated cam chain tensioners, aluminum thermostat housing, coils, etc. ), and engine compression is as new. Front struts and bushings are also new, and the car has just had a full service and is ready to drive anywhere. We are XK8 fanatics, as you can see from the last picture, and this exceptionally pretty XK8 has received the best possible attention to bring it back to as-new original condition. It is completely stock except for recommended reliability updates. This was originally a $90-100K car (in today's dollars), and can now be had for approximately 10% of the original price, with every possibility of holding and even appreciating in value.
