Vehicle Detail
1994 Honda Cbr 600 F2 NOTICE: Motorcycle wast bought used in excellent condition from a local dealership that is now out of business (Roswell Fun Machines), but it has a GEORGIA SALVAGE TITLE. It has not been wrecked or rebuilt while I've owned it, so I have no idea why it has a salvage title. I was completely unaware of the situation until three years after I bought the bike and I had it paid off (had been tagging and riding just fine). This means that with the current title the bike may be used off road only (racing, etc.) - you need to get it inspected to get a new "salvage-rebuilt" title that will allow on-road use. The re-titling process costs $118 and takes about 2-3 months in Georgia (1-2 months to wait in line for an on-site inspection, up to 1 month for processing of the new title). I have completed all of the paperwork to do this, but am trying to sell the motorcycle with its current title before pursuing a "rebuilt" title because I would be required to send in the current salvage title with the paperwork. This means that I couldn't sell it for 2-3 months; Because I might need to move to California before then, I'm listing the bike for sale at a reduced price in hopes that someone with a little more time can go through the 2-3 month process for the benefit of saving $300 or that someone is looking for a bike to race where a salvage title won't be an issue. If this bike doesn't sell in two weeks, I'll begin the re-title process and re-list the bike for $3000 when I get the new title (likely meaning that I'll need to move with the bike to California, keep it in storage, and sell it there, which I would *really* prefer not to do). This bike has *VERY* low miles for a 1994, and has the following extras:a new RK x-ring chain and sprocketa recent carburetor rebuild (because it had been sitting for too long with very old varnished fuel)tank cleaned and coated with Kreme tank liner (this is very important for older CBRs as they develop serious tank rust after a few years which will clog filters and ruin gas.)a new NAPA batterya new NAPA auto battery charger/maintainerfront/rear stands used for winter storage and maintenancea spare set of carburetors (for parts)a 4-gauge carb synchronization kita "tail bag" for transporting stuff on the back of the seata wheel lock to deter theftrear brake removed, cleanedbrake fluid replaced front and rear with new dot 4 fluidI have a FirstGear fabric jacket and a Shoei RF-800 helmet (both black / large size) that are also available.
