Up for sale is a very nice / clean used 1988 Suzuki Samurai JA (w/out warranty as is) for sale. I bought it about 5 years ago and I have been slowly restoring it. I don't know how many previous owners it has had therefore; I can only tell you what I've done to it. The mileage shows 118,490 on the vehicle but, I can't confirm that. I bought it knowing the transmission was bad and the transfer assy was missing. I had the transmission rebuilt by a Suzuki Technician and upon reinstalling it back in the vehicle I put in new gear oil, new pressure plate, clutch disk, pilot bearing, throw out bearing, factory shifter boot & shifter knob.I replaced the carb assy with a new factory Suzuki one. Also,I installed a brand new factory Suzuki transfer case assy with a new 4wd switch / gear oil. I installed a new Suzuki muffler and gaskets. I have put in new gear oil in both frt and rear axles as well. I have replaced the oil & filter, air inlet hose, spark plugs, air filter,anti freeze, battery and it has a trailer hitch / ball. In addition, I have replaced the carb assy with a new Suzuki carb, wiper blades,front bumper and end caps, new Petro Works door panels, Petro Works aluminum inside door handle levers, new Suzuki emblems, all rear bulbs, turn signal relay flasher, brushed in bed liner, undercoating and Suzuki factory all weather floor mats. I replaced the seats with black upgraded high bucket seats and the rear seat is a new Suzuki factory seat assy that I've had for years but never installed it. I have only driven this vehicle around my subdivision therefore these new itms have less than 10 miles. The chrome wheels are Suzuki factory wheels (tires need replaced because they are dry rotting) and the black top is a Suzuki factory top that is in good condition with only a stiching needing resewed along the back window zipper.The radio turns on but no sound comes out which probable means the speaker wires need checked out or something ( I don't know much about electronics). I have tried my best to list everything I know about this nice Suzuki Samurai and please keep in mind this isn't a new vehicle but, it is in very, very, good condition.
