THIS JEEP RUNS OK BUT IT WILL NOT PASS NY STATE INSPECTION. That is the problem. I have been driving it for 2 summers without any problems but the inspection ran out on april 30 and I cannot pass inspection. The rear bumper is hanging loose, the frame has rust issues, and there's some problem with the brakes. I use the Jepp on the beach and to drive around town. It's a super cool and FUN Jeep. The only problem is the inspection. All of the problems existed 2 years ago when I bought the Jeep and I just ignored them and everything has been fine. The day I got the Jeep, I took off the hard top (great condition) and put it in the garage. I have a nice soft top that I keep in the trunk but I've only used it once. I really just drive the Jeep on nice days. The hand brake doesn't work but the foot brake in fine. I leave it in gear when I park.
