I believe I’m the 3rd owner and have come to realize that I don’t like to ride in the rain, and it rains all the time in Seattle… so I’m selling my bike to you! One of the biggest reasons why I bought this bike besides the fact that is a beautiful it’s also very easy to work on. Engine: It runs good and fast, it has new plugs and wires and both carburetors have been overhauled, oil has 10 miles on it. Brakes: this bike has dual front disc brakes, front brake calipers and lever need to be overhauled. They’re sticking so you’ll need to plan on picking this bike up with a trailer or a service of some sort. Millage: This bike has only 9070 miles on it and was kept in a garage for about 8 or 9 years un-ridden. Paint: yup I live in Seattle so there is a lot of moisture in the air so there is a little rust on it; I hope you can see it in the pictures. It’s the original paint. Tank: there is a small dent on the right back side you can see this in the picture. Front Fairing: you can see what happed in the pictures. Rubber bits: some of the rubbery bits need to be replaced they’re dried and cracked, if you’ve ever owned a vintage vehicle before you’ll know just what I mean. Tire: Tires have good tread on them but I would think about putting new ones on it. Electrical: it all works, and has a good battery. Extra stuff: you’ll also get a Clymer BMW Service manual, BMW Accessories Pocket Book, Fairing owner’s manual, and Rider’s Manual for R65. Tabs expire in March 2015.
