Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is my 1969 Chevrolet Camaro "X11" with a 402 big block. This car has a great start to the restoration with a lot of new parts. It runs and drives with no issues. I have taken it to a lot of "cruise-in" shows or just out on the town. This is not a car show trophy winner.... YET! I am just out of time and ambition to finish it. I have all receipts for all work completed. Motor has less than 500 miles on since it was built. Motor is strong; no leaks or smoke. I ran the numbers and it is originally a 402 Chevelle block that I had torn down and rebuilt. All new internals; pistons, rods, cam, new hardened valves and seats, etc. It does still have the stock iron heads. I did upgrade to a big block radiator. TH350 3 speed transmission built new in 2007 by a local performance shop. All new internals, 2500 stahl conv with new trans cooler installed 8.5" 10-bolt rear running 4.10 gears. Eaton carrier with Moser Axles built by the same performance shop as the trans. Exhaust is 2.5" stainless steel with Delta 40 series Flowmaster, complete with H-pipe. Headers are ceramic coated which are now showing some rust. Interior includes B&M 3 speed ratchet shifter and 4 point racing harness. Seats have been re-upholstered, new carpet and headliner. The dash was previously cut for a radio and switch (see photos) Suspension is virtually stock. I replaced shocks and changed the front springs. Still original rear leaf springs. Brakes are 4 wheel drum. Only general maintenance has been done, no upgrading was completed. Overall exterior is in fair condition as mentioned above. There are some flaws in the paint as pointed out in the photos. It is a good "20 foot car". I purchased the car from Arizona in 2004. It has been garage kept and never rained on since I have owned it. There is NO RUST to speak of. I am being completely transparent with this car and auction. If there is additional information I am missing and/or photos just ask and I will get it to you! Happy bidding!
