Mechanically excellent. Rebuilt engine with Mahle cylinders and pistons. Engine #AE60991. 1600 cc with 60 hp dual port heads New Battery New Starter Transmission shifts good in all gears with no problems. New factory style wiring harness with working headlights, taillights, turn signals, parking lights, windshield wipers, blower motor, fuel gauge Good serviceable seat upholstery. New interior door panels. Carpet is good. Headliner has lots of wrinkles. Excellent tires with chrome VW type wheels. Alabama car with solid, no rust floor pans and heater channels. Brakes have been completely rebuilt and stop good and straight. E-brake works correctly. Body is good. The front hood has been bumped and the bondo is failing. The left front fender needs repair. There are a few rust pinholes in the lh door. Several scrapes and scratches all around. Paint is a 5 out of 10. This is fun car to drive and is a good daily driver as it is. It could be very nice with a little tlc. No guarantee is expressed or implied. Alabama does not require a title for vehicles of this age.
