Vehicle Detail

Very solid car that was left at mechanics shop by previous owner and a lien was filed and now I have clear transferable title for the car. This has the ever so rare MANUAL 4 speed transmission. The car has not been run in years and the mechanics at the time diagnosed a probable bad front crank bearing, however, the engine has not been torn down and remains intact. Physically very nice. The grill is near mint. The cars speedo was removed with intentions of placing a MPH but was not completed so the gauages are currently in the trunk. The car is missing a wiper arm, the hood star, and the drives side headlight bezel. The interior is complete but being european has cloth seats in need of a recover as they are well worn. The sunroof is missing the headliner and the rest looks good with the exception over the rear window where it is drooping. The wood is solid mostly just needing refinishing. The original Becker Grand Prix stereo is still there (worth the starting bid) with a vintage blaupunkt 8 track under the dash. The clutch and shifter move freely in all gears. There is very little rust compared to some I have seen. The pans are great. There is a fair amount of undercoating but no major sagging or rust stains. This is New Mexico and very dry. The wheel wells have a few spots of rust as seen in pictures but no major cancer. The rockers are nice but one has a heel sized dent in it. Otherwise all other panels are beautifully straight. Only one headlight has rust bubbling through the paint above while the other does not. All the glass looks good with no cracks except for one small stone chip on the windshield which is the type that can be eliminated by specialists. The tires are decent. All hubcaps are there (one is in the car). The jack and some tools are in the trunk. The trunk floor looks good including both wells on each side. All the bumpers and chrome are excellent - even the rubber on the bumpers. The hella driving lights are a nice look. She is dusty and dirty but well worth getting fixed. Worst case, it is a wealth of great parts, especially for one seeking to convert an auto to stick. It is sold as-is where is and will need to be shipped, towed or trailered to the next owner. I can help make arrangements.
