Hi guys, Why it is a 1974vw bus type 2 splitscreen and not a 1964 ?? ( Frequently asked question): Production in germany: 1950 - 1967Production in brazil: 1950 - 1975 ( Postponed to 1975) - There are no differences. It has its complete original benches ( 2 at the back and the 2/3 front) and panels. the front and rear bumpers are in really good shape and im sure its going to be an awesome bus when it will be restored. The structure of the bus is very good (frame, cargo area...). The engine 1500cc turns great and the transmission shift very well and does not pop out The brakes are also in good condition. It looks like this bus has been lowered too, but not too much... All seats have to be reupholstered. The bus is ready to be registered at the DMV and the price DOES NOT include the registration.
