Vehicle Detail
I'm selling a super clean laser straight 1965 Chevrolet 4 Dr. 6 passenger Bel-Air Station Wagon. This is an excellent driving car and very comfortable to drive. It is powered by the original factory 327 cu in 300 hp motor that came with the car. It was rebuilt about 35,000 miles ago. At that time an Edelbrock Aluminum Intake was added with a 600 c.f.m carburetor and chromed engine dress up kit. The stock distributor was replaced with an HEI high voltage distributor. An over sized aluminum radiator was added to replace the stock factory one. Shorty block hugger headers were also added that connects the 2 1/2" exhaust to 40 series Flow-Master mufflers. Southern Air was also added, the Wagon was not a factory A/C car. The air blows cold and works great for those hot days while cruizin to or from car shows or just out driving. The power-glide transmission was replace with a 350 turbo trans when the engine was rebuilt. The rear end is the original factory 10 bolt with 336 gears. The car rides on Classic Cragars, 15x8 out back with P255 70's, fronts are 15x7 with P205 70's. The paint is about 5 years old and is still bright and shinny as the day it was painted. The interior is totally original two tone greens, the seats and carpets were installed about three years ago and is in excellent condition, the original material was over eight hundred dollars when ordered to re-upholster the seats. The door panels are also in excellent condition. The Wagon has new brakes, drum brakes all around, duel master cylinder was added to replace the factory single reservoir one. The car stops with no effect with the drum brakes. All of the windows are in excellent condition, no chips or cracks, and all windows roll up and down and the tail gate window is an electric window, all other are manual. The headliner is still original in excellent condition. This Wagon is being sold with no reserve, the starting price is a very low $11,000.00. This is an excellent driving vehicle and has been driven great distances to car shows and cruises. It rides like a big boat and very smooth on the highway. The mileage is around 18 MPG on the highway, little less around town. If your looking for a great car and want to go on long trips or car shows, this is the car for you. The car has been very dependable and never let you down on long trips. Remember this car is being sold with no reserve so it go to the highest bidder. If you are the only bidder who bids $11,000.00 and no one else bids then you've bought yourself a great car that you'll be proud to own and drive. Note the VERY RARE FACTORY TACHOMETER on the dash. Good luck on your bidding and thank you for your interest in the car.
