Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is a 1969 hugger orange camaro SS clone. It is my intention to be as accurate as possible with the description. I have purchased cars on ebay with great descriptions, and it makes all the difference when a seller is honest, and forthcoming. I have nothing to hide here. This car started life as a 6 cylinder, power glide car. It was white, with black interior. No power steering. Now the car is a beautiful hugger orange color with the striking white hockey stick stripes down both sides. The engine is now a totally rebuilt 396 big block. The transmission is a 700 r4 with overdrive for those long cruises. The rear end is the stock 10 bolt, but works fine. I have never raced this car, not even once. I built it to be a cruiser. Not a show car, not a drag racer, but a nice, mean cruiser. The engine has a mild cam, headers, and the twisted eddelbrock aluminum intake. It has a 4 barrel Holley carb. Again, this is not a race engine, it has a nice smooth cruising power band, it's not too bad on fuel (for a big block v8). It has great oil pressure, has always been taken care of, never ran hot, and was always maintained. The car has always been garaged since it was restored 6'years ago. The sub frame was taken off, floors replaced, frame bead blasted, everything re painted flat black underneath. New sheet metal on the car includes; new quarters, fiberglass hood, original 69 camaro fenders, replaced trunk lid, replaced front valance. Sub frame connectors installed. New coil springs, all new rubber bushings, new slotted and drilled disc break kit (front disc, rear drum). New radiator, new gas tank, new gas lines, break hoses, new carpet inside. The interior needs to be redone. The seats have inexpensive covers on them now, and the headliner has a few small rips and tears. There is no radio, no wipers. No air conditioning. The glass is good. Original side windows, new front windshield. I see this car as perfect for someone looking to invest in a nice project, one that they can make their own, and start with a sound, strong foundation. Of course you can buy it, do nothing and begin driving it arround from day one. It is not by any means perfect. You'll want to redo the trunk pan. Replace or repair the rear sub frame / sheet metal. Some of the body work from 6 years ago is not perfect. The car shows well from about 20 ft. If u scrutinize up close you'll see imperfections. But it definately turns heads. And has never to my knowledge been in an accident. Between the hugger orange paint, and the nice deep big block exhaust, this beauty gets the attention. Also for sale locally. Reserve the right to end auction. Feel free to come see the car in person. On Apr-28-14 at 18:50:35 PDT, seller added the following information: Only 6,000 miles since restoration. Fresh motor etc. I have tried to post additional photos. Ebay would not allow since there were already bids. This is a nice car. Always maintained, always garaged. Rolling chassis on ebay are selling for 8-10,000.00 minus motor and trans. Here you have a 69 ready to go. Drive it anywhere. On May-01-14 at 05:54:53 PDT, seller added the following information: I am also including a lot of extra parts. Have brand new in box wheel well trim for all four wheels. Have the original stock metal camaro hood with hinges. have a lot more parts included in sale. If your the winning bidder you won't be disappointed! ;)
