Up for auction at NO RESERVE is a 1995 Ford Crown Victoria LX. The Good: I owned this vehicle for 7 years and it never left me stranded except once with a flat battery. This Crown Victoria is a strong runner und used daily for my 40mls commute to work and thus approximately 300mls will be put on until auction end. It was maintained regularly, with oil changed approx. every 5000 mls. The interior is very, very clean and everything works except the driver and rear passenger power window works ( they need new regulators approx $35 at Rockauto, the motors and switches are ok) and the passenger power mirror only adjusts left and right no up and down. EVERYHTING else works ! AC climate control blows ice cold. Heater is nice and worm in the winter, Power seats, Power locks, Cruise Control, OEM Stereo (no hacked dashboard), Rear window defroster, Auto dim rearview mirror, remote trunk opener, remote fuel door opener, all lights wipers, etc. they all work. The air suspension in the rear has been replaced, a few years back, with Interceptor coil springs as they are known to develop leaks over time - nothing to worry here anymore. Also the notorious HVAC blender door actuator has been replaced last year. It starts right up, idles nices and clean, no engine noises, Transmission shifts as intended, Overdrive works. It still averages about 18 mpg in the city and 25 on the highway. My mixed commute shows 20.9mpg 450 miles range. Not bad for a big comfortable 6 passenger V8 rearwheel drive sedan. The Bad: As a Michigan car, it has rust at the wheel wells and sills. However the frame is structural sound and fairly clean. 4 inch tear in the driver seat seating surface. The tires need to be replaced very soon. 2 Power windows not functional (driver, rear passenger). Passenger power mirror only adjusts left right, no up and down. Small exhaust leak at left bank after the catalytic converter. At 177k mls it burns a little oil (no leaks), I just top it off with a quart every 3rd tank approx. 1200 mls. Check engine light and Airbag lights are on - I bought it like that in 2006. That's all I can think of. I currently own 7 cars and this one needs to go, that's the only reason for selling it. I'm an automotive engineer, and did all the work on the car over the last 7 years myself, I know this car inside out, feel free to ask any question. No tricks, what you see is what you get.
